30% from 3 and 65% from the line won't get it done. Biggest goals for Brandon should be getting stronger and working on his shooting. _________________ We only celebrate championships.

Yeah BI is fine, he is improving and finding out the things he does well and is doing them as much as he can. Agree with multiple people on this thread, if that's his game his FT's need to be at 85%+, otherwise he is just wasting possessions. |

Ingram needs to improve his jump shot.
Getting stronger isn't a problem as finishing is pretty much all he can do offensively right now. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Especially now that teams are scouting him and telling their guys to stay home on him. They are even adjusting mid game sending the help D when BI's got it going to the rim. He'll need to recognize that and kick out to the open man and start excelling as a spot up shooter. That's when his game will go to the next level. |

BI gets to line a lot more than anyone else on the team. So much so that he is leading in free throws made even with that percentage. It's weird that he misses so much because the shot looks pretty good when it goes in. It's not like watching Shaq fumble with the ball or anything. |

I mean this guy literally has only 1 move: head down and go to rim |
Don't know if you're being serious or not but BI is a better defensive player, better playmaker etc...Kuzma is our best scorer rn but so far that's all hes good at rn |
Bi is not a defensive specialist. He is a better playmaker but is also a black hole on offense. Today's game is an example of that.
How many times we have seen him go iso at the expense of ball movement?
Richard Sherman is right: kuzma is what the Lakers expected out of bi
Not even talking about not having a jump shot to save his Life |
He didn't say he was a specialist.. And you're getting off on the wrong foot here. Are these the kind of posts you had in mind when decided to get an account with LG? |

He's gonna be a beast next year and I believe his shot will get better, too. Lately he's been getting to the rim at will. |

Yeah those are year 3 goals. I’ve liked his improvements in year 2 so far compared to his rookie year. He’s worked on finishing better and he’s more aggressive getting into the lane.
Now he needs to work on his shot, he’s not even confident in his mid range jumper which was good in the 2nd half of last season he’ll need to get the touch from mid range back and gain some confidence in his catch and shoot ability in general, especially if he wants to be a good fit next to Lonzo next year, he’d still only be 21. _________________ My Dream Starting 5 next Season

Looking at him I can see bright future for LAL. I am not worried about his shoot at all. He proved to me that he is hard worker. He will get it done eventually.
With him, Kuzma and I hope Ball we can have strong team next decade. I think after all three of them will have 3 years in NBA so season 20-21 we can be real contender.
Only guy I am not really sure at the moment is Luke. He is doing too many stupid things even for young coach. Some really really stupid crap. |

The new NBA is about shooting. Kuzma is the only Laker who can shoot consistently. Ingram will never be a good shooter. |

Never.. huh. Lol
He does need a huge reconstruction on that shot , and needs a very competent shooting coach to help him implement it. Too much cockback, makes the stroke slow and easy to contest, also causes him to shoot on the way down on midrange shots. Also causes the outward release. |

Guys like Giannis and Simmons are showing you don't really need to be a shooter to dominate in today's NBA.
I'm not saying Ingram will end up like either one, but I think his priority should be staying agressive and imposing his wingspan and size into people.
If you turn him into a jump shooter, you are throwing away his size and his ball IQ, which is what made him a #2 pick. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

Very encouraged by Ingram's ability to get to the rim even with defenses knowing he's going to drive. Just needs to get that shooting down. Sometimes when he shoots, he looks less confident than Lonzo. |

Will we ever get a good shooting coach? Seems like Luke is more interested with getting his old friends paychecks than finding the best person for the job. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

I think reconstructing Lonzo's form will be the impetus... If Ingram not improving shooting at all after a "hardest working summer ever" , doesn't inspire them |

BI has about 3 good plays and moves to get a shot. He needs to work on strength and footwork on top of shooting. He’ll get there. |

Two guys and they are both unreal athletes with incredible measurables. Yes, BI is long, but both of those guys are long and explosive. I say this as a big BI fan. He will need a shot to dominate in this league. Otherwise, we're looking at an 18/5/3 Batum-esque guy tops. Which is fine, but I expect (and think we will receive) more. |
