So who is going to star in Space Jam 2 then? Gilbert Arenas? _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I would love to see how that would look. Throw in a decent center who can either shoot or defend. |

BI played most of the 3rd, and was out early in the 4th.
when he came back, the Cavs were actively trying to deny him the ball - since he'd kind of torched them earlier.
combine that with a few of our guys getting 3ptr happy late in the game, and BI just didn't get the ball much.
he did pick up a few nice assists late in the 4th though when the Cavs were collapsing around him |
Yup, the ball stopped moving down the stretch. Guys were taking open shots, but there was not much passing and the shots did not go in. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

"Baby Groot"isn't the best nickname in the world, but it's waaaaaay better than most of the terrible suggestions earlier in this thread lol. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Don't be misled. He's not actually shooting better, he's just playing more. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Huh? 45% from the field and 35% from 3 is a huge improvement from last season. Jumper looks great now, just goes in swish- net barely moved on a few of his distance shots last night. Watch out NBA! _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

It's crazy that he's shooting so few that one game can still change his percentages by 4% almost a third into the season lol
This might have been his best game from beyond the arc in the NBA though, hopefully that gets his confidence high enough to let some more loose. |

Oh, it is? Never mind, then. I've only heard Durantula.
Ok, how about Brand X since his middle name is Xavier? _________________ LeBron, AD, & _________. Stay tuned.

Not to be an old grouch but why does he have to be given a “cool” nickname?
Whatever you call him... I am just happy to see him making an impact with his much improved game. Hope to see this young man continue to develop in a Laker uniform over the next few years |
