I agree! Before I visit this LG site, I google "Lakers rumors". I get sites like Yibada, Silverscreenandroll, Bleacherreport, etc. |
There are only a few legit sources. The rest are clickbaiting the largest fanbase in the world for views (and subsequently revenue), so it makes sense to conjure up rumors the way Chad Ford does on ESPN. Not sure why google continues to let yibada and inquisitr dominate the search results, because those sites are pretty much trash when it comes to reporting. We were supposed to get Noel for Russell a while ago. |

Two players draft, he was the sure 2nd pick in almost every rank with some folks willing to take him 1st while Russell was not a surprise, but neither the guy most scouts had at #2.
Ingram didn't have a great summer league, but he did ok, no major flaws and had a very good last game when he got the ball a bit more so he is going to the pre season with a good (not great) rep, enough for a LA 2nd pick get attention.
I told it before and will tell again, I'm really impressed with both of our picks this season. They are two way players, with a good skill set for their ages, great length for the positions, both seems to play the right way and look like down to earth guys. |

I think he's going to be marketable with his unique looks.
Was listening to a podcast from Andrew Sharp/Ben Golliver (SI Sports NBA Podcast) and they were speculating who they thought would be good candidates for the 2020 US Team, and they thought that Ingram would be a good candidate due to his versatility. They also begrudgingly said DLO.
