Lonzo could used that.

Yeah, I know that Kuz and Zo are working out but are they using a trainer? I love the kinds of benefits that Randle and BI get from working with trainers.

Fun fact: in Portuguese, a lay up is called “bandeja”, which literally translates as “tray”

Mamba. The footwork sessions are looking good. Every Tues and Thurs gotta be leg day... then run hills during Summer League. Should be good to outlast the bigs for late game blocks going into the playoffs. Know the end game, cap.

What I love about Kuz is he actually asked to come off the bench when one of the starters came back from injury. He strikes me as selfless, so I don't expect there to be any drama as to who starts. As long as he gets at least 32 minutes I'm happy.. Same goes for Ingram, though I'd prefer he start with Randle.

We should care more about who finishes than who starts. Kuzma’s selfishness did get him yanked at the end of some games last season but he still has some room to grow.

Might come down to Kuzma's defense vs. Ingram's jumper tbh

If his 3 really comes around next season it's over. Excited to see him hopefully in a Lakers uniform this upcoming year.

He may have had a bit of tunnel vision on occasions.. I like his aggression though. He'll find the balance eventually.

Possibly one summer too late.

Certainly hope you're not referring to PG13.

I am. Or possibly some other trade we never heard about (Kyrie?)

You would trade BI for Paul George...?

Not now, no, since George can't be traded. And my apologies for bringing up trade scenarios in a player thread. Exeunt: me (myself, and me)

want to pass what you've been smoking?

I'd rather not, no. Not when you cop that tone.

See what happens when you actually have a vocabulary!?!? People accuse YOU of being high, kind of ironic huh?

Embedding this so it's easier to watch.

this is awesome!

any idea what all the different drills are meant to develop? i'm guessing:

touching medicine ball on ground - keep shoulder low
foam noodles - finishing through contact/concentration
picking up cone & placing on next box - switching hands and stopping at a spot?

Beer time?

Brandon Ingram's friend on twitter that leaked the news we have from LFR about the trainer hopping:

@LakerFilmRoom Update on B dog again: Back in Miami to train with Oladipo's old training regime at the gym. From what he said he's using both Atlanta/Miami back and forth like Oladipo did with two gyms/trainers.
One specializing on his handles..the other is shooting/movement.

So he's emphasizing handles and shooting on the offensive end, perfect. It shows commitment that Ingram's willing to cash out on two personal trainers for his game.

I hope he does, but it's no guarantee. JC never did. My only issue with Kyle is the fact that he wants to be a three when he would be most beneficial long term as 4. Match up nightmare. He also has a tendency to fire outside the context of the offense when the ball comes to him. I understand Confidence, but you also have to understand when shots simply aren't good for the teams offense.

I’m curious if it’s a tax writeoff.

Edit: it is

“These expenses are generally deducted on your tax return as employee business expenses. Agent Fees: Commissions and/or fees paid to an agent are deductible as a business expense. ... Training & Gym Fees: As a professional athlete you are allowed to deduct your gym and training fees.”

It's only ironic in the incorrect Alanis Morissette usage. But I'll admit I can't remember what specifically we disagreed about last. Was it Mitch v. Magic or Ingram v. DLo?

That's excellent if true, that's one of the biggest areas he needs to improve on.
