Ingram doesn't strike me as lacking confidence. He's come out and said that he wants to be great and win ROY this season. He has a mellow personality, but I guarantee that fire is in there.

In regards to (GT's list) of Laker greats being arrogant and having a ego, Ingrams quiet demeanor can be a scary thing, I think if Ingram plays angry then the NBA should be shaking there boots, it's the quiet personalities that have the ultimate killer instinct just ask Tim Duncan.

Lacking confidence? No way. He's very humble, but that doesn't mean he isn't confident, fiery, or competitive. Duncan really is the perfect comparison for his demeanor, in my opinion.

Ingram is 6'10 and it makes me happy.

Luke is at least 6'8.5 in those shoes

Watching Brandon Ingram break this Louisville press and initiate offense at 6-10 is pretty remarkable. Has made 4-5 nice passes already.

Draft Express guy ^

idk it just feels special to have a 6'10 SF . hehe!

Having a SF with Ingram's height is a rare luxury.
Only other NBA SFs I can think of that are 6'10'' and up are:
Durant, Greek Freak, Gallinari, Saric

His size and length will allow us to do things on both sides of the ball, other NBA teams (with normal sized SFs) can't do.

BUT tbh, his legs to me never looked that skinny as his arms does. I think that is the reason why coaches maintain that he's stronger than he looks like.

Will be better than the Greek Freak if he fills out his upper Body

It's safe to say that he's somewhat adjusted to the NBA three-point line after an up and down summer league with it. That 3-ball is looking WET

He did, and he had the same kind of killer instinct on the court. He just went about it differently.

Larry Bird had an ego too.

Being softspoken doesn't mean you don't have an ego.

The moment somebody says I'm humble, they've contradicted themselves.

true. if you want a pedestal, adoration, or appreciation - that's all ego. If you're shy about vocalizing that, it doesn't mean a pedestal still isn't all you dream of.

Brandon Ingram posts-up and drains threes on the second day of Lakers' training camp [/b]

The second overall pick continues to impress.
The second overall pick has flashed tantalizing talent both in college and at Las Vegas Summer League, but Ingram is still very raw and will take some time to develop.

Simmons and him have to get minutes on the floor together or they'll have too many bigs. But I think Simmons will guard the SF. Saric anit that mobile, he's stretch 4 mobile.
