Ingram doesn't need to be KD 2.0. I want him to be Kobe 2.0. Most people never thought Kobe would be this great when he was 18 with the skinny body. Can't wait to see him play.

There'll never be another [Kobe '2 point 0'], they broke the mold making him the first time... C'mon mods, y'all make me look grammatically challenged.
Didn't they all say there will never be an other Jordan ever? Kobe is as good or even better than MJ depends who you ask.
I don't think he's going to reach KD's level, but he'll be close. D'Angelo, IMO, will be better than Harden though, but that's probably because I think he's overrated and should be somewhere between top 10-20 player.

Yeah. I'm thinking Ingram can be a Paul George-caliber star. Pretty damn good imo. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Main concern for me is his lack of ball handling, usually by this stage players don't improve on it much. Guys like Durant and George came into the league with way better handles.
This kid is only 18 and a full year younger than Simmons. He showed great character throughout the process. I think he is the best fit for our team. He brings great expectations and with some patience and growing pains, he'll be a star. Welcome to the Lakers!

aint no lack of ball handling, for an 18 year old SF he's ahead of the curve there. SFs usually aren't good ball handlers until they're upperclassmen.
George scouting report on DX
Quote:
"The first thing that pops off the page when looking at George’s numbers is his high turnover percentage. The Fresno State product coughed the ball up on some 18.8% of his total possessions. He seldom gave the ball up in spot up situations, as he often just took the first available shot, but he turned the ball over on 30% of his one-on-one opportunities and 25% of his transition touches. Obviously, his ball-handling ability will be something that he needs to refine in order to reach his potential as a player."
Paul George improved a lot as a ball handler in the league. And he came in 2 years older.
