We all were high on Zubac. He gave us very good reason to be as well. He was pretty good his rookie season. Heck, he was better than Ingram and they were the same age. Based on his play as a rookie, it was fair to assume that he would be the starter at Center by this year.

It's really quite alarming how his game has totally fallen off a cliff and how he's regressed so much. I don't know what it is, but he aint the same guy.

But he's apparently really good according to the analytics.

If Zubac wasn’t guaranteed, he probably would’ve been cut over Travis Wear.

Zubac finished with a -4.

All other Laker finished with a +.

Don’t know what’s happening to him.

He’ll probably miss the USofA, Los Angeles, and all the extras that comes with being a Laker when he’s back in Croatia with the cold gyms and the teammates who smoke on the bench.

Did you watch the game? He only played the last two minutes of the game when it was garbage time. Everyone else who played got at least twenty minutes. He sucks, yeah, but that one isn't a fair argument.

If Chandler can get out of PHX they'll waive him almost immediately. I'd be so stoked if they signed Chandler for backup C and Swaggy as a situational shooter off the bench.

Yeah, I'm sure he's going to be freezing on the Adriatic Sea. And I'm sure he'll live a miserable existence beachside in Split or Zadar.

I love LA provincialism. The kid sucks, but we should all be so lucky as to live on the Adriatic in our early twenties as millionaires.

It's possibly lack of coaching. There is no interest on the Lakers staff to develop a low post guy. My jaws dropped seeing how befuddled he was against Alridge. You are bigger and taller, what are you doing spazzing all over the place? Let LA get the ball, and use your body to play position defense. This is his 3rd year, to look so confused on how to play man to man D, I gotta attribute this to lack of coaching.

Worthy or Stu, who was it that used to have a big man's camp? They still do it?

i agree seems like they dont care and let him fiddle around spending all his time on some low post moves as if he's going to be the next Hakeem. They need to lock him in a gym and say he's not coming out until he learns how to play tough defense and aggressively box out on rebounds.

He was working with BB.

What happened to this guy? I heard MT on the radio the other say that Zubac lost too much weight and is getting pushed around too much? Is that true? I haven't seen him on the floor enough to be able to tell.

Zubac doesn't seem to be part of the plan at this point. A healthy Wagner might put Zubac on the bench for the rest of the year. I could see us waiting until some center gets cut at the deadline, and we go that way and then release Zubac.

All he had was baby fat in his first year anyway. Even players drafted a year or two after him have added muscle, but nothing on Zu.

Have you watched Wagner in the G-League? He is a while away from being the difference maker that would do that.

Na, I haven't seen any G-league this year. I'm trying to be hopeful Wagner is useful this year.

Best showing by Zu in a while. He was active and didn't look completely lost or overwhelmed.
