Kudos when it's due. Good game from Deng tonight. Now just keep that up for 4 more years.

Generous comments for only 1 game. For max salary, I'd expect more.

Not to nitpick, but not a max contract...

I would also argue that it hasn't just been one good game of good play.

Yes deng is doing well but it is frustrating that it took him a quarter of a season to get there

By next year his contract will be half a max contract.

Tell your great grandfather he played well last night. I am not going to say anything negative about your statement, because I understand the lineage.

Given LD's play last night, if I were Luke, I'd consider giving LD the LeBron, Duncan treatment of some nights off to rest aging bones.

Actually I have watched many more than one game. And he isn't being paid the max salary. So pretty much everything is incorrect.

That would require the patience of a 6 year old. Not many folks here can be held to those lofty expectations.

Deng has become the difference between winning and losing games. Too many laugh at the concept of veteran leadership, my guess is that they have never built a team. Because it is a huge part of developing young players.

Nobody laughs at the concept of veteran leadership, but you can get it for the vet minimum.

Great game from Luol though.

Sure, you can get Walmart level vet leadership for the vet minimum, thankfully our FO aimed higher and thought about the benefit for the young players they are developing. And yes, some here do laugh at the idea of veteran leadership and constantly mock it.

MWP is walmart leadership ?

Deng got paid because the front office thought he would also be able to contribute in a big way. Wich he has recently been.

Artest isn't the difference between winning and losing games, Deng is.

Deng might be when he contributes on the floor. Wich he does theses days. When he was a ghost on the court he wasn't.

I thought Deng had turned the corner but then came 4 or so invisible games before this one great game. Let's not jump to conclusions yet

If he has another good game against Orlando, then that is probably the reason, bicep injuries can linger.

True.

Good to see the guys getting used to playing with Deng and finding him on his cuts. This is what I mean when I said our guys are still developing on court chemistry.

I hope Deng sits out a few games here and there to rest his weary legs. When he's rested he is a very solid player.
