He should practice more on towel waving and have his butt ready to shift warming the bench, Lakers overpaid for his babysitting job.

Glad they took care of it now, maybe he was dealing with injuries and didn't want to make excuses.

How quickly we forget how we complained Mitch "overpaying" for Luke and how he hampered our salary cap and should be benched.

LOL

I don't care either way, it's just funny.

Probably close to the same money effect overall as well as production then and now, although I'm not calculating that here.

Bye.

So this means another off season he isn't able to work out (I'm assuming he didn't last summer either with how he came into camp)?

A little confusing on why he didn't go ahead and have the surgery when they shut him down with almost 2 months left in the season.

Because it wasn't hurt then, it is a recent injury.

With the Spurs looking to make a run for CP3 .. would the Spurs do this trade to shed some salary ??

Lakers Receive:
Danny Green
Dewayne Dedmon
Dejounte Murray

Spurs Receive:
Luol Deng
Houston’s 2017 first-round pick
Denver’s 2018 second-round pick

I don't think that #28 plus the Denver 2018 second round pick is even enough to just move Deng.

****

Edit

I just looked at the salaries:

Green...............$10,000,000
Dedmon..............$3,028,410
Murray................$1,312,611
_________________________
........................$14,341,021.....

Deng................$17,190,000
Spurs package...$14,341,021
________________________
..........................$2,848,979

In your scenario, the Spurs are increasing team salary rather than reducing team salary.
