They replaced Roy with Moz. This isn't like swapping D-Wade with D-Wait... How did that not make top 5? . |

I think moz will surprise folks this year. Basically he's making around 11m a year using last year's salary. Not crazy. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I don't have a problem with the amount we gave him - I just have an issue with the length. He's a high risk move, so why would you guarantee him 4 years like that? That could really limit our options if we need to make a trade/maneuver. |

im really rooting for Mozgov to have a solid year and quiet all his doubters.
Hoping for something around 12 PT / 7 RB & 1 - 2 BLKs per game average. |

Did not like the Mozgov signing in any way. This was before Zubac showed promise. Hopefully they know something. His stats are actually better than I thought they were so maybe so. |

I believe his career high is 10 points a game. I don't expect him to have his career best at the age 30. |

I watched him play in Cleveland and he is an above average center.
I'm happy he's on the team. I'm not happy with the contract but it could be worse. |

I'll be happy if he can go one game without tripping over his own feet. It was a tragedy watching Roy tumble down the court last year. |

That's fair I suppose. If you consider that since the contract dips and is almost flat otherwise it becomes less of an issue. The cap will continue to go up and the last two years will be at $8 million in 15-16 dollars (roughly).
If the union negotiates for a bigger share of revenue your going to love having he and Deng on 4-year deals. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

I like the Mozgov signing. Some continue to underestimate his value to the team overall, not just his stats.
He is not Jordan, Whiteside or Horford. Not making $22-26M like them either.
He is a solid second tier center addition. Compare him to the Chandler's and Lopez's of the league. Nothing flashy just good solid character, bbiq and consistent effort.
I have said all along a big portion of his value is in doing all the little things that do not make it to the box score. His screens, defensive rotations and locker room or practice guidance.
Likely going to be a 25mpg/ 10pt / 7 reb / 1 blk a game player for the Lakers |

Thought it was a crappy signing at the time, still think it was a crappy signing. Hoping he proves me wrong. |

Cause they don't have balls to complain about the most overrated gm/president of bb in Riley |

Mozgov is a future hall of famer with potential to be a perenial all star and is a pick and roll savant.
It's just BSPN hating our players. |

I'm actually surprised ESPN picked Rose and Rondo ahead of Mozgov. There are plenty of better choices like Waiters, Mahimni and Biyambo. |

Honestly, do people really care about the contract #'s as much as the fact that he's gonna be 30 next year, I'm Hoping his game ages well, but even if it does, I'm expecting 11/9 with solid to good defense and nothing more. |

If he gives us that we'd all be elated. |

I'm not sure elated is the right word to use, when he gets minutes he produces, in the 2015 finals.. when Cleveland had no 2nd option he stepped in and became a 17/11 guy, it's not like he's a bum or anything... He can play and plays with a lot of intensity, it's just that we were so stuck on getting guys like Horford or Whiteside we are all basically bummed out that we settled for Mozgov. |

Considering his career year was averaging 9.7 pts and 7.3 rpg, 11/9 is very much pushing it. Especially with Russell, Clarkson, Ingram, Randle going to take up the majority of the shot attempts and Mosgov being a 21-25 min player at most.
I except an 8/7 year for him. Even that might be pushing it a bit but hopefully the minutes he does play goes beyond stats sheets and just focuses on setting screens, dirty work on the glass/defense, etc. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Yeah, 8/7 sounds about right. Hopefully can get a few blocks in and be a good mentor to Zubac _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Hibbert was awful last season. I think Mosgov will be an upgrade. Rim protection, being effective in pick in roll, and being a good locker room presence. That's all I want... |

If he can put up those numbers for 3/4 years, while staying relatively healthy, then I think I could call that signing a success. |

Unfortunately he's averaged less than 1 block per game over his career. However, that doesn't take account of how he alters shots and clogs the lanes. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
