Yup. It's a slight dip in 2017-18 and back up again the years after.
Am I seeing things or is Moz getting a raise?
You can drop the salary by 4.5% the 2nd year (which Moz/Deng both did to give the Lakers max salary cap space for one more max deal in 2017).
Add it up and it averages to 16m/over 4 years for Moz.
16,000,000
15,280,000
16,000,000
16,720,000
So that site shows Deng getting the 4.5% drop, but not Moz? You know what, I don't even care. I just thought it looked peculiar.
It's wrong. I just checked on WOJ's site and those are the numbers. Both Moz/Deng took -4.5% in the 2nd year. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

From what I can tell, the official team policy is not to release contract details, so if a site has a different source, or one they deem better, I guess they can run with that.

I would trust Pincus (Basketball Insiders) and Bobby Marks (WOJ)'s estimates on the salaries.
It's a -4.5% dip for Moz/Deng in year 2, then back up for the last 2 years. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Same with clarkson. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
Mozgov, Russia Complete Undefeated Run at EuroBasket Qualifiers
Quote:
Thanks largely to the efforts of Timofey Mozgov, the Russian National Team finished with a 4-0 mark in EuroBasket 2017 qualifiers, concluding with a 63-59 victory over Sweden on Saturday.
Playing on home court in Krasnodar, Mozgov finished the game with seven points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.
He was especially key on the glass late in the game, beginning when Sweden cut Russia’s lead to one with five minutes left. The new Laker kept possession alive by crashing the offensive boards, leading directly to a 3-pointer by teammate Sergey Karasev.
But the Swedes fought back, tying the game at 59 with 47.0 seconds remaining. Mozgov then snatched a defensive rebound and Russia finished with the game’s final four points.
Ranked ninth by FIBA in a group that only contained No. 53 Bosnia and Herzegovina and No. 61 Sweden, Russia had rolled to double-digit victories in its first three games of qualification.

Timofey Mozgov May Emerge As Big Surprise For Lakers This Season
Quote:
Despite the criticism, there is reason to believe that Mozgov may emerge as one of the biggest surprises when NBA training camps start on Tuesday. Although he is 30, he has only played in the league since 2010 and is still in his prime. His career was on a definite uptick when he suffered a knee injury which hampered his play at the start of last season. By the time he recovered, he was no longer part of the rotation or future plans for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Luke Walton on Timofey Mozgov: “I told him I think he’s the best in the league at (using) the verticality (rule)."
Man, we said the same about Hibbert last year.
But I do think Moz has a different edge about him (let alone far superior PnR partner and just a meaner SOB). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Mozgov insisted he enters the 2016-17 season fully healthy. He also sounded confident he could assume a heavy workload to reward the Lakers for their hefty investment in a four-year deal worth $64 million.
“I can do whatever I’ve been doing for six years in the NBA,” Mozgov said in an interview with Southern California News Group. “I’ll work in the paint, be big, make contested shots and block shots.”
