I know there are a lot of Laker stuff you regretted buying (Howard/Nash Jersey)

But I got 2 items I can't forgive my self for not purchasing/acquiring.

1. There was this unforgettable photo I saw about 25 years ago, a cut out from a giant sized sports magazine article which essentially captured in a single frame the reason how I fell in love with basketball and the Lakers.

It showed Kareem holding a rebound and about to throw an outlet pass, Magic was looking at him (with his face in full urgency mode) and his outstretched arm directing Kareem where to gun the pass. Worthy and Green with their heads down and forward both striking a sprinter's pose. I forgot where Scott was

That picture was pure Showtime. Glossy. Colorful. Heart pounding.

It was posted on a tailor's shop glass window. I wanted to steal it (I was pretty sure it was not for sale) but thought it was a heinous crime against a fellow Laker fan and instead believed that in my youth I would be able to find it elsewhere and have my own copy for framing. Never saw it again.

I wish I had the goggles that they gave out to the crowd when Kareem retired.
I heard they are worth a butt load of money now

My first game at Staples was one of Kobe's last.

I'm happy to say that I got to see him (and Shaq) play many times during their 3-peat run though. That's back when they played an exhibition game in Bako every year. Wonder why they stopped coming here?

You are lucky. I mean I guess you can say I watched pre-season over in SD, but he didn't play that game. I believe that was the famous ice game Lol

It was jaw dropping if you are a Laker fan. It would have been my Mona Lisa.

Don't know how to track it. Google is not my friend.

Well the most recent is the #8 floor board at Staples of Kobe's incredible final game. Two of my cousins and I were splitting it and we were the highest bidders at 100k, we were crapping our pants because we stayed at the highest bid for a full 3 minutes and counting down (auction had already ended and they gave each party 5 minutes to continue betting). Well I think it ended up going for 180k or so, can't remember exactly. Exciting times though.

I was also the highest bidder for Kobe's black mask a few years back until it ended up going for way more than I could pay.

Haha, oh I was also the highest bidder for a while for a game of Horse with Kobe. After a few days I had to actually call the auction people and tell them to take my bid off because I came to my senses. It ended up several g's more than I bid anyway.

Still got my actual vegas Lakers slot machine that I love in the garage.

I have a buddy at work that got 2 free tickets from a friend to that game. He ended up giving them to another friend after trying to give them back to the original buyer/friend.

My brain almost exploded.

Some are undersized. Some are tweeners. Some compensate with athletic ability.

This is offensive on so many levels and I am offended on so many levels. First of all, my mother is a point guard. Secondly, "size" is the name of my sister who died when we were younger, so you just triggered me. Finally. JK Rowling raped me a few years back, so I am doubly triggered.

What's the main complaint? I have one or two. Is it the ugly designs or something?

Jeanne's panties at the Lakers After Midnight Charity Auction.

Turned out they were used, and it became a big deal, and were resold for 5X the winning price.

Did they pass the panty challenge or were they stained?
