What a sick world we live in. So many innocent people killed and injured because they don't share the same religion as Islam. My condolences to the victims and families.

Wish this would just end, but it seems like it will go on for a long while.

If I have it right ISIS idea is apocalyptic. For them the end is the end.

Quote:
In the Book of Revelation (Greek: Ἀποκάλυψις Ἰωάννου, Apokalypsis Ioannou – literally, John's Revelation), the last book of the New Testament, the revelation which John receives is that of the ultimate victory of good over evil and the end of the present age, and that is the primary meaning of the term, one that dates to 1175.
Today, it is commonly used in reference to any prophetic revelation or so-called end time scenario, or to the end of the world in general.

MSNBC Reporting at least 75 dead, 50 injured.

That version of the apocalypse is from the Bible, which their vision does not stem from. They do not adhere to the Bible, clearly. Their ideology is inspired from the Quran.

Thoughts and prayers for Nice.

It's the same idea even though it's from the Bible. The Quran and Bible are similar in many ways.

LINK

Quote:
Muslim and Christian views of the Apocalypse are remarkably similar, albeit with a different ending.

As in the Bible’s Book of Revelation, Islamic tradition speaks of signs — unnatural disasters, wars and moral decay — that will portend the Last Days. And like Christians, many Muslims believe that Jesus, whom they call Isa, will return to defeat the Antichrist.

Contemporary Muslim apocalyptists have even borrowed from their Christian counterparts, such as Hal Lindsay, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, to discern the dates of the Antichrist’s arrival, said David Cook, an expert on Islamic eschatology and associate professor at Rice University.

Really wish I didn't click on the link. The first picture was enough to get me to exit the page, and wish I didn't go there in the first place.

France being so close to the middle east and also in the front line in the fight against ISIS is a convenient target for them.

That, and there's like zero border control there.

Are you aware that the largest of the recent attacks was in Baghdad which killed over 200 people and that the vast majority of ISIS's victims are Muslims?

ISIS doesn't care for other Muslims unless they follow the same form of Islam as they do. I guess an analogy would be the conflict between Catholics and Protestants.

Didn't you know, it doesn't count if the victims are Muslims.

I don't think anyone is saying that here. There were a lot of Muslims killed in this terror attack today.

I guess it doesn't count how many bodies the military logs as "collateral damage" as long as it is the military that does it.

It's the in thing to attribute it to the open door policy but with regards to France's recent problems with terrorism, it goes much deeper than that. Start with being a colony of France for over 100 years, grab a pinch of refusal to integrate into French society at large in the face of racism and poverty, sprinkle in a healthy dose of fundamentalism, add in a handful of dissemination of ideologies via the internet, mix real well and you have the recipe for combustion. France has a huge Muslim population but the root of that was it's colonization of Algeria and Tunisia. And one more thing to note, it's Germany that has taken in the most Syrian refugees in Europe (50x more than France by official #'s).

France has been pummeled by Islamic violence the last couple of years.

So sad.

I'm Looking forward to all the European countries to exit the EU. Make it like the 1930's where every country was for themselves. Oh what will Germany do? Start another holocaust?

I don't get why you would say something like that.

I would be quite offended if I was German. Nevermind that I'm still offended.

Lets start blaming Cambodians for the killing fields, russians for the gulag, etc etc. When a corrupt and tyrannical government who controls the military go into power there is very little citizens can do.

Yeah, considering the US on the verge of recreating the rise of Nazi Germany, not sure anyone should be criticizing Germans.

I am saying this In response to Germany immigration issue and the fact they are in the European Union which allows immigrants to enter any country they like. As bad as it sounds maybe they need to do away with the eu and have a hard right stance on immigration. Now Germany has taken over 100k Syrians what are they going to do? Many people are upset with Merkel her approval ratings are dipping and there are more right people rising in the Germany. Germany needs to squash the right uprising whenever they can amnesty the Syrians and tell the rest of the EU to help shoulder the immigrants and let's co trol our own borders.
