Munford has a different style of play, uses speed and quickness.

Huertas and Calderon seem like the same slow type shooters.

The only thing is Huertas isn't a very good shooter

I don't care who we keep however we need at least ONE guard that can consistently apply defensive pressure.

Our perimeter defense appears to be very weak again this year.

I think Huertas is just the 3rd pg on this team. In all honesty Calderon will get most of the minutes off the bench. I like Munford too not a bad little player, but Huertas is a very good pick n roll play maker and Walton is going to need that a lot.

A D-league guy for sure. Hard working but in the NBA nada.

I'm sure both Munford and Auguste have earned camp invites.

If you have Calderon, you really don't need Huertas. I'd go with Munford, as we have the superior vet leadership, shooting and playmaking with Calderon.

It already happened with Mufasa. Yes I know that's Simba's dad.

We've never seen Huertas in Summer League. Given his Euro experience, he'd probably be killing it if he were there.

It seems like Munford has a higher ceiling than Huertas. But I think it will be years before he is Huertas level.

I don't see anyone hyping Munford.

The purpose of summer league is twofold:

1) Give your least experienced players a chance to learn.

2) Give young free agents an opportunity to show that they might have the talent to make an NBA roster.

No one is stating that Munford is a potential star, or even starter. He might be able to carve a role for himself as a bench player, somewhere this season.

He had a nice dime to Zubac for a dunk in the game against the Warriors.

I wouldn't mind if we kept Munford around to call up for when we inevitably trade Calderon.

Why not? Although I'd rather get anyone that balled out in summer league or d-league. Churn the roster to foster competition

Munford and Auguste should at least make the D-Fenders squad.

The D-Fenders are in need of an experienced PG; Huertas would be a nice addition

Did anyone notice Munford playing defense last night? No, because he didn't. The part of the game that had Munford at the #1, and Nance at the #5 was when things really fell apart....Munford (and Russell) kept getting beat and Nance is not a primary rim protector. Munford was the worst defensive player on the court.
