Zubac Team MVP... his poise down on the block and ability to play clean defense consistently was quite impressive. To heck with the D-League, give the boy a roster spot.

Good news, as Mitch and Luke put it, they want him to contribute on the roster immediately. So no D-League for him.

And that was BEFORE Summer League started. He definitely bought some minutes with the main roster.

Thanks by the way GT. I was looking for these stats.

Might be one of the few but I still have hope for A.Brown to be a 3/D rotational wing

Russell's TS% ... And rebounding... Very nice.

Zubac's per 36 ... heck, that was like his line tonight.

Nancy's steals and blocks, also very nice.

Good to see Ingram shooting FTs in the 70s. He looked better from the line than in college.

And the 4 blocks!

Russell's numbers look good too despite his last stinker.

those numbers make you smile. If Russel can get his assist up a bit Durant might have joined the wrong team

With all the hate AB has taken, it's funny he has a higher 3 point% than Ingram. Not saying much though

Good to see Ingram still averaged more points on a higher % than Simmons

My only complaint with Russell is the FT%, hopefully it was a smaller sample size, I'd like him to shoot around 80% during the RS. Otherwise, he had an awesome summer league.

He was good today, 3-5. But very few gave him props because all they could remember was the last shot. I still have hope.

The difference is Ingram can clearly impact the game when his outside shot isn't falling. Brown is a 3 & D project that hasn't payed much dividends so far. Also keep in mind he was a 5 year senior at Stanford and is 23 years old. So this might actually be his ceiling.

Per 36 average is 7 blocks per game when you combine the 5 players.

Got about what we expected from Russ. I knew Zuuu was playing well, but the PER-36 stats really put things in perspective. Overall, I'd say it was a successful Summer League.

I thought Brown looked good at times in SL. I want more from him but he improved his game overall. Had a few good plays handling the ball and moving the ball to create easier shots for others.

He has to start hitting his 3s to get any significant mpg though.

Going to be interesting to see how he is used this season. I can envision SG mins behind Clarkson. Walton can play Brown for defense or Williams for offense off the bench. Depending on the matchup any given night.

I was disappointed and bit surprised that Brown did not have a block or steal though. I would have guessed he had a couple of steals getting into the passing lanes. Not sure if it a bad memory or wishful thinking.

Yeah, there are differences in age, experience, and rust. People forget that this is the first time that the top prospects have played 5-on-5 in about 4 months in most cases. They rarely shoot well from the outside in Summer League as a result.
