I don't think people truly appreciate how special Byron was.
These guys were all making a ton of money playing a game, living in LA and being treated like royalty because they were Lakers. Byron managed to suck the joy out of that. Do you realize how much effort it would take to do that? |

Not going to defend Byron one bit but this has been said every year at the beginning of the year. You can't gauge chemistry this early. |

This is a fair point too. As great as things are with the team right now, it'll be interesting to see what spirits are like when we (most likely) lose some games. I don't anticipate it ever being as bad as it's been the past two seasons with having a coach who didn't communicate, but who knows how new personalities handle losses.
But until that happens, I'm going to enjoy the Byron Farewell Tour under all the beautiful shade players are throwing around |
