I like our picks in the past three drafts. Seems like our front office has it going on. I know it's very early to judge but I'm curious...What are your thoughts? Any picks you would have done differently? _________________ "Just because you are characters doesn't mean you have character." Harvey Keitel |

You could make a good case for Richardson or Powell over Brown last year, but that's about it. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Too early, it takes at least four seasons to judge a draft class, but we can tell they did a A+ job with late pics because players taken outside the lottery aren't supposed to produce the way Clarkson, Nance and apparently Big Zu are producing. First steal is luck, second steal is coincidence, third steal and I'm going to tell the scouting department know what is doing.

Auguste needs a little brushing up, but he might be a gem if they decide to bring him on. His energy and motor is something you can't teach. Has a bit of Joakim Noah to him. |

I'm still liking the Brown pick. Defense is there. He just needs to find his shot. Question is, will he ever find his shot? He looked better in SPL. _________________ "Just because you are characters doesn't mean you have character." Harvey Keitel |

Christian Wood as well as long as he continues to develop. |

IMO we've drafted the best player available at our draft position with 6 out of our 7 draft picks in the last 3 years, the exception being Anthony Brown.
That's absolutely INSANE. Especially when you consider 4 of those picks were in the 25-46 range. Fantastic drafting by our FO. |

All he's done is play decently well in Summer League. He hasn't even played in the NBA yet... |

You could also make a reasonable argument for Porzingis over Russell. It's not my preference (especially with the track record of injury with guys that size) but nationally that's the narrative.
In addition to Richardson or Powell, I think as an asset you could argue Guillermo "Willy" Hernangómez over Brown. For need targeting a 3&D guy was more important for LA which is tolerable in the 2nd round. But Willy might get you a better wing in trade than Brown at this point. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

In some sense, we are very lucky. I don't know whether Mitch just picked the BPA or he actually had a plan. Our young core fit each other very well. Look what is happening in Phili. They follow the rule to pick BPA on each draft and now they have to trade some of their player. |

People blame him for the bad, so only fair to credit him for the good.
Our front office has done an incredible job drafting the last 3 years. You can always argue each draft pick, but on the whole body of work, awesome job. |

Sure, but we have to be fair, who would have picked Porks 2nd over Russell, Okafor and even Mudiay before the draft? There is the Darko effect pairing over the head of GMs taking euro players that high with other good prospects available. Mudiay can still be the best guard from this class as can Booker that is doing pretty well too. At this moment I believe we have the best guard available and the player most suited to the modern game. Okafor has also great upside, but he is not a legit seven footer and has as many holes on his game as Russell without some strong points needed nowadays. |

Two possible franchise players... not bad at all.
Ingram is going to be one. Russell has a chance but we'll have to wait and see how he fills out in two years.
I also think Zubac will be a top 5 center in a few seasons. |

A+
We have one of the best scouting and drafting in the entire league, maybe behind the Spurs. |

Because neither of them have superstar potential. Getting two guys like that in Ingram and Russell in back to back drafts gives them an A+ in my book. _________________ #CowboysNation

Well yeah, but we drafted those guys 7th and 46th, not 2nd overall. IMO that draft should get an A just for finding Clarkson that late. And I don't see anyone else drafted after Randle that projects to be a significantly better player. |

Ok. But you rate a draft pick relative to what was available, so unless you see a superstar picked below randle, hard to knock the pick down below an a, and if you're downgrading the 46th pick for not being a superstar, uh... _________________ “We must always take sides. I still think Randle can be the best or 2nd best player in his class. He certainly has that potential. |
