This trailer makes the movie look eh..a bit interesting i suppose. But eh, how I often have I thought a movie like stupid on trailer only too be great i.e. guardians of the galaxy.

Man of steel was awesome as f***. Batman v superman was just toooo long but I liked it for the most part.

Diane Lane who plays Martha Kent, doesn’t think ‘Justice League’ will be better than ‘The Avengers’

http://batman-news.com/2017/05/11/diane-lane-justice-league-the-avengers/

Quote:
Diane Lane, who plays Superman’s mom Martha Kent in the DC Films universe, was surprisingly honest during an interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

A fan called in and asked Lane two questions: 1st... could she share any Justice League spoilers? 2nd... will it be better than The Avengers?

“No and no”, Lane replied with a laugh. “Short, but honest. I hate to disappoint,” she said.

Lane also admitted that it’s weird playing Henry Cavill’s mom sometimes because he’s so hot! You can watch her reply at the 1:40 mark in the video below.

It’s rare for an actor to be honest like this about a movie they’re in, but we’ve seen it before. Last year Jeremy Irons said that Batman v Superman deserved the “kicking” it got from critics.

Guess Zack Snyder is going to kill Martha in Justice League 2

It's too bad Zack Snyder's career as a director can't be killed off.

Should have just done a Man of Steel 2, WonderWoman...then Flash and Solo Batman next year...then do Justice League the year after.

Now, JL might still end up being crap in my alternate plan, but at least they would have tried properly.

Nah, they should have just scrapped this universe and re-do it with an actual director.

Been watching the cut scenes on YT. Hope they make a full length JLA animation movie of this quality someday. It's almost Alex Ross-like with the different faces and bodies. So sick of the Manga-style animation.

Snyder stepping down as director and handing the reigns over to Joss Whedon. Snyder's 20 year old daughter committed suicide back in March, and Snyder felt it was best to be with his family.

Joss is set to write and direct a handful of additional scenes this summer to be added to the film.

I just wish Christopher Nolan was involved in some capacity. His portrayal of Batman re-energized the franchise

Probably his signature, horde of digital henchmen being served up to the heroes as canon fodder, scenes.

You think Nathan Fillion is trying to persuade Joss to add him as Green Lantern?

1/10.

Whedon's involvement helped a little bit but still a convoluted mess marred by overly grainy and unnecessary dark camera filters, Gigli Ben as Batman, and stale, lifeless acting. I feel for Snyder's loss but he was still the wrong choice to helm this franchise. Wonder Woman succeeded due to a good director who knew how to best minimize Gal Gadot's lack of acting chops.

I thought it was better than the critics have said and than I expected. I'd give it a 6/10, which, in my mind, was better than Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman, about the same as Wonder Woman, and just behind Suicide Squad. If it was a Marvel movie, it would be one of the average ones.

I thought the special effects and CGI sucked in general though.

The movie is fine and entertaining. Not great, and lacking any truly awe inspiring moments that you’d hope for with such an iconic team up of some iconic characters. But the chemistry between most of the characters was fun, Ezra Miller was a god send as the Flash, and finally a Superman who felt kind of like Superman. The moments early where they were trying to sell that the world was devastated by Superman’s death didn’t feel earned at that point from the events of the first two movies (though that cute cell phone vid helped a little) but by the end you could feel a little why the world would mourn his loss.

Watched online. (fool me 3 times)

Some of the "humor" really missed the mark. But I'm glad it wasn't all doom and gloom like BvS. I don't know if it was the link, but damn,, some of the scenes just ENDED so abruptly and never got a chance to develop.

We hopped from one scene to another throughout the film and I assume there was A LOT left on the cutting room floor.

6.5 / 10. The villain and story was weak. The team worked for the most part and it was great to see them all together. This is a step in the right direction for DC and I hope they continue to build upon it. Just have to get the right people involved and let them run the show.

That put a smile on my face. Emo Supes was just so lame. Snyder was a bad choice.

I’m about 6.5/10 like some here.

It had its good moment, but overall the movie struggled to find its footing.

They finally made Superman happy.

Made Batman/Bruce a little too goofy

Lex still annoys the hell out of me but at least he’s bald haha.

It was basically Avengers: Age of Ultron with DC characters (Joss is a 1 trick pony). I liked it. Superman's moment when he returned was great, we finally got to see how powerful he really is.

It was actually sort of funny how they conveniently had him leave the fight to go save people, as if Wonder Woman or Aquaman couldn't do that. It was really just a way to get him out of the fight because he is so overpowered.

I give is a 5/10

Joss definitely helped but like BvS it felt like the story was held together with scotch tape.

I did find it entertaining none the less.

-17,4267/10

lol/10 ben affleck

lol/10 they made cavill hold his head still in most shots so the CGI team could half-ass airbrush the [contractually obligated for another movie] beard off of his face so his face looked like it was phasing in and out of a different dimension throughout the entire film, exacerbating his stiff delivery

lol dialogue, movies devote too much effort to trying make millennial neckbeards laugh. making Diane Lane use the term "thirsty"...ugggh

lol whose idea was it to cast that nebbishy little twerp from big bang theory as the flash? (bleep) that kid and everyone who loves him

lol there's no way to make aquaman look cool on screen; using dead weight like jason momoa was definitely a move in the opposite direction

4/10 teasing the flash vs superman race but not actually showing it. This would've been better than the main story arc.

kill yourself, DC
