Time to get that Roquette ass!
Schedule looks very road heavy to start with, which should be an interesting test for our youngsters and coaching staff. Hopefully the last month or so will be mostly home games. |

I don't think the first 5 games are that bad I think we can go 3-2 |
4 of those games are on the road. So I don't see a winning record out of those games at all. |

First 5-6 games will prove rather we are a playoff team or just a team that's gonna be up and down all year long... So I'm looking forward to it. |

Indiana is probably the most realistic game we have a chance of winning |

OKC games will be much easier now without Ibaka and Durant.
Atlanta will have to hope Milsap and Howard can completement each other.
I don't see why the Lakers can't have a good showing if they want to make a run at the playoffs, to me its gonna depend if Ingram and Russell play at a elite level. |

We have the hardest strength of schedule in the whole (bleep) league. (bleep) man, why can't we catch a break |

It's another reason for the Lakers to either put up or shut up, they always say the right things and they need to let the action do the talking.
We will see if this team has the winning pedigree. |

Im confused I read that we have 15 national televised games not 14.
That's still a big national attention and that's without counting the likely 5-6 games we will have on NBA TV.
So we will have 20-21 games with everyone having the chance to watch the games around the world. |

Lakers reportedly have the most difficult schedule in the NBA going off of SOS _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |

The number of games against the other conference are the same for all teams.
Being the weakest Western Conference team (2015 - 2016 season) in the same division as the best team (Warriors) in the league might have some impact on the strength of schedule issue.
Winning enough to push another team to the bottom should rectify the strength of schedule irritant. |

I see us winning at Utah. we will be thin to thin with them for playoff implication. |

All that means is the Lakers have 0 games against the worst team in the west from last year, because it's themselves. That SOS calculation is pretty meaningless. |

Can someone translate this for those of us that don't speak 2.0? |

If we go 1-5 or 2-4 the first 6 games, then the whole season is a success. Brutal start for Luke's record, he might be starting with another streak
ON THE OTHER HAND, it's also a great experience for the team to weather a tough string of games out of the gate. 30 wins is the dream this season |

I was stating that if the Lakers are gonna make the playoffs we need to be head 2 head with Utah in the standings. |

At first I thought it was supposed to be:
Quote: |
we will be chin to chin with them
|
but "T" is above the Home Row (QWERTY keyboard) while "C" is below the Home Row.
It is difficult to attribute it to a Typo when the "T" and "C" keys aren't near each other. |

The NFL and NBA don't use the same methods to create schedules. |

We play in the best division in the best conference in the league.
GS and LAC are both top 5 NBA teams.
I'd be surprised if we didn't have one of the toughest schedules in the league. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Lakers Schedule: Five Games I’m Looking Forward To Most
Quote: | A couple of games had already been leaked out as the Lakers will open the season at home against former coach Mike D’Antoni and the Houston Rockets. The Lakers will also face their Staples Center co-inhabitants, the Clippers, on Christmas Day for the second straight season. |

Brutal start...Houston and then 4 road games, followed by GSW. Very difficult.
Massive road trip before LAC on Christmas day.
Schedule makers have given us something quite chewy. Luckily, our progression is going to be more performance related than wins and losses this year. So it's nothing to panic about. |

Indiana is probably the most realistic game we have a chance of winning |
I can imagine winning Game 1, losing the next 3, and winning Game 5 just because Atlanta doesn't take us seriously. |

Sigh, if you need any more evidence that the league hates the Lakers there you go.
Seriously we won 17 games last season and we got punished by facing a revamped, ridiculously loaded Warriors team that just added a top three player to a 73 win team that was a couple of shots away from winning another ring? Really? |
Those games are likely losses no matter how they schedule them. |
