Sigh, if you need any more evidence that the league hates the Lakers there you go.
Seriously we won 17 games last season and we got punished by facing a revamped, ridiculously loaded Warriors team that just added a top three player to a 73 win team that was a couple of shots away from winning another ring? Really? |
lol come on dude, what reason does the league have to hate us? We're the NBA's biggest cash cow, don't have such a victim complex. |
Let me guess you still think the Paul trade was right and fair? Even though we gave up two All Stars basically. _________________ #CowboysNation

first 6 are very tough, aside from Houston. After that though, we have 6 very winnable games, would love for us to win all of those |

Just a quick scan though, I counted about 28 wins. I have been predicting about 27-32. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |

5 teams that made playoffs + 1 team that barely missed it in Utah.

I'd settle for 3-2 for first five. 4-1 would be awesomely unexpected. 5-0 would be GSesque ZOMG Dynasty-in-the-making. I'm not thinking about the remaining possibilities. There's too much talent on this team to think we will have a losing season again. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

My first thought was wow that little, but 23 is pretty good for a team with no Kobe who is projected to be near the bottom of the league. Of the 8 teams with more national tv games than the Lakers only the Bull/Knicks didn't make the playoffs last year and both retooled. |

That's one decision that was made that (bleep) us over. However the NBA has no reason to hate us, they make the most money when we're playing and doing well and anyone who knows a thing about business would back that up. We're the second biggest market in the NBA with the largest fanbase, NBA has ZERO reason to hate us.
The commish and the other people who run the NBA aren't fans like us, they're businessmen because the NBA is a business and their only priority is to make money. They don't have favorite teams or players, they could care less as long as they're making profits off of the league. It sounds silly that fans of the LA Lakers would be one to complain. |

What a lame schedule. We play all the same teams we played last year! I smell collusion. |

Those games are likely losses no matter how they schedule them. |

It's a cold day in hell when the Clippers have more nationally televised games. SMH. |
