This can lead to only one logical conclusion: stop thinking, its bad for you. |

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that this commercial will be shown sometime during the TNT doubleheader.. |

Actually, you should thank Jerry for trading for Kobe, but we get your point. |

I am neither, although I wouldn't mind a night with Jeanie Buss. |
What are you talking about?

They discussed it on around the horn. Michael Smith and Kevin Blackistone loved it. M. Smith said Kobe is the MVP. Jay Mariotti of course complained, saying why does he have to either hate or love him. Then Blackistone called him out for being a hater. _________________ Chris Mihm - "...the reason he's been forced to take as many shots as he has is because our offense tends to stagnate and then we just have a tendency to throw him the ball. I kind of expected Mariotti's response. he got owned by Blackistone.
I think PTI is gonna discuss the ad, too. |

I was just watching around the horn for two things: reactions to the Phil-Cuban debacle and Kobe's new ad.
I liked what I heard about both.. in regards to Phil and Cuban, they closed the topic by saying that Phil has 9 rings and Cuban has none.
On to Kobe's ad..
The collective sentiment was that it was great.. "truthful advertising"..
Mariotti played negative ned on this one and said something to the extent of.. "he says hate too much.. i don't hate him.. how can he say hate when it comes to a basketball player.. we have other things to worry about than hating kobe bryant.. we have wars.. terrorism.. etc."
But the next guy to comment said that Mariotta sounded like a hater and the ad is perfect.. because it's true. He respected Kobe's 81 points, some people praised it, and other's criticized him for it... so this commercial is a homerun for Kobe.. just like his full spread ad in sports illustrated in which one line stated a remark from kobe's criticizers and how he followed it with how he trained in response to that criticism.
Now I'm watching PTI.. they're going to be on both of these topics as well. _________________
