I'm impressed in a non-basketball way. But if we're going there, there are tons of people who can just spin 720. It's the ending that kind of makes it special. when skaters do a tripe toe lutz or whatever and fall on the landing...it's not really a special thing. When they stick the landing, now it's a big deal. Same with dunks.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with you there. I saw this thing and I was amazed at first, but then he missed the dunk. Up until 3 years ago, I used to be able to spin 720. And I'm not an athlete, nor can I dunk. I haven't dunked a ball since 2008. But a 720 isn't impressive if the ending isn't there.
Now, if come All-Star break and Wiggins pulls this off in the dunk contest.... There's no way that you don't give him the trophy. If he manages to finish this dunk.... It might be one of the greatest dunks of all time!
That extra spin isn't very efficient if you consider it gives the defender that extra split second window to block. _________________ Lakers. Built different.
