Julius did the street stuff in the first half, and then started trying and going to the post in the 2nd half where he drew many fouls apparently. |

And more explosive.
He's gonna be grabbing rebounds at a elite rate.
Now if he can show his outside shooting formula in preseason he's gonna be a force. |

I don't know about more explosive. There was a time during Nike Hoop Summit (?) where he looked like an absolute man child.
He's already grabbing rebounds at an elite rate. I'll believe explosiveness is improving when he's flat out dunking on people, instead of holding back with touch shots. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

He got fouled about half the time that he took it to the rack, which was damn near every time he got the ball.
The guy who does play by play started ribbing Julius a bit when he picked up his 3rd foul early in the second half, telling him that he didn't wanna be the first pro ever to foul out in the drew league. |

No clips of him playing defense!!
Just kidding.
Just like mocking posters from the Clarkson thread.

Always hard to be impressed with clips of NBA players in the Drew League. The physical difference is almost always very, very obvious. Also impossible to judge how Randle has improved the intangibles like off ball play and decision making when he's not playing with the Lakers and Luke's offense. |

Looks quicker off his feet. Maybe it's just the level of competition we're used to seeing him play in, but yeah, against these Drew League guys, he seems to be much quicker at getting to his comfortable spots. |

An NBA player on the roster and they still lost by 20... Why Randle Whyyyy, but in all seriousness it's good to see him working on his game and hopefully he can become effective for us, I think Walton will teach him how to win and play teamball |

You think that's crazy? how about this. Today, Nick Young and Javale McGee were on the same team and lost. Javale let some dude on the other team that was like 7-8 inches shorter than him pull down 29 rebounds (drew league record). |

I wonder how the Lakers feel about their players participating in these streetball exhibitions. |

I'm sure they don't mind. Tons of NBA players play or have played in the Drew league from year to year, including our Kobe Bryant. |

He's a third year player. Third year players do not play in the SPL unless they failed to previously. SPL is for rookies and second year players, or undrafted players who are trying to earn a roster spot in the league. |

3rd year, with only 1 actual year of playing. Yea, he should have played in SPL. |
