Man, Zubac has massive potential. If he learns and feel comfortable with his left hand and improves with his agility he will be a great big in today's standards. He already can hit that 15 ft jumpshot and can run the floor decently. _________________ I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.
1.He was not understanding what's going as far as screens
2.He wasn't aware of action off the ball.
3. Slow to roll on the pick and roll
4.Blocking shots solely with his left hand which puts him in fouling situations.
What's really, really, nice about the bad areas are they're correctable through coaching, maturity, and work. The bottom line is he's a gamer. He's got that massive frame, standing reach, and he understands the game.
I simply can't believe we got this guy @32 regardless of why. Thanks GT. I appreciate and enjoyed it.

My biggest concern is his ability to defend the PnR. While he does need to be able to use his left hand, that's not gonna keep him on the bench the way that a guard/big combo that can beat Soft Hedges & Ice will.
But his length, hands, & touch around the basket are all high level NBA assets. You're not gonna get a player without flaws at #32, but he's an absolute steal all things considered.
That transition dunk against the Cavs was really impressive. He catches the ball at the 3 line, takes one dribble and gathers himself at the top of the circle and then takes off from just inside the free throw line. That's Deandre Jordan kinda hops. Seriously, not many guys at that size can make that play. Marc Gasol doesn't have that in his toolbox. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
Yeah I noticed he coudn't hard hedge, that will definately be a problem. Great attention to details once again. That's why to me Adams is a top 3 big in the NBA. His perimeter defense for his size is incredible.

Really love this video series GT. Hoping that deal with the NBA goes through so they don't keep taking them down off of YouTube. Wanted to compare this with the Mozgov video but just about all previous breakdown vids are down. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

I haven't done a Mozgov video yet, but plan on doing one before training camp. My next vids are gonna be...
-Summer League in Review: Brandon Ingram
-First Look at the New Schemes
-How Timofey Mozgov Fits In w/the Lakers
-How Jose Calderon Fits In w/the Lakers
-How Luol Deng Fits In w/the Lakers (this one got taken down & I have to re-do it)
-Summer League in Review: Anthony Brown (still debating if I want to spend a week's worth of free time watching this turkey fumble the ball & miss jumpers )

I'd like to see that Calderon video. He's a sieve defensively, but I think he's one guy that can orchestrate our offense and he's a very good shooter. I think he'll do well.

I'm hopeful that both weak side help from Nance Jr, and the ability to disrupt passing lanes and also block shots by Ingram will help mitigate that issue.
I hadn't noticed the strong hand dominance. Balancing that out is going to improve his quickness to get in position as he's wasting movement getting back to his right. The verticality thing is also eminently fixable.
It's interesting that Zubac was said to have fallen in the draft because of a reluctance to be a stash candidate. But I feel like having him build skill under our trainers is way more important. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.
