Golden State, Portland, Seattle, Minnesota, & of course Houston lost tonite, so noone gained ground on the Lakers. Clippers, Memphis, and Denver loss - so the Lakers pick up a game on them. After all the doomsday crap spewed over the last few days, I'd say it's actually been a banner day for the Lake show. And now they are going back home for a second half of the season of a lot of home cooking. I'd rather be in the Lakers position than in the position of those chasing right now.

And on a side note...Gotta be impressed with what Indiana is doing right now. That Laker loss isn't looking like such a fluke at this point. Peja? Who knew.

No freaking doubt!!! Carlisle is and HAS BEEN the coach of the year, pretty much every year he's coached in my book. Everyone wants to toot Larry Brown's horn, Phil Jackson, Popavich, and D'Antoni. But this guy, year-in, year-out..players in and out CONSTANTLY...and you NEVER see his guys roll over and die. They play hard EVERY night, NEVER feelign sorry for themselves.

Reminds me of the way Riles' teams used to be.

If he's had bruised ribs before then he'll probably only miss a game. If it's the first time then he'll likely miss two. Ribs hurt like a mf. The first time the shock mess's with ya....That's why we have to give Lamar mad props.....

Ouch...May have counted my eggs before they hatched on that one. Would be an epic choke job if the Bulls found a way to lose this one...
