Thanks, these are really informative. For a kid his age, I'm pretty impressed with Brandon
And I guess I'm just weird but I love seeing the defensive stuff as much, if not more, than the offensive moves. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman

exactly. Ingram's help on D(instances where help is not necessarily coached), shows his 'defensive want-to'. You can't teach that.
Also, the play where he was going to close out on the guy 15feet away, and the guy was scared to shoot -- it's a beneficial dynamic closing out that not even Kawhi imposes - because Ingram is visiably longer and taller - therfore more intimidating. Sh*t his reach is actually significantly longer than Kawhi so he will contest that shot better.
He looks like a lock to be a top 5 2-way wing. As his floor. 2 way wings are rare and valuable. I think of the Celtic's reluctancy to trade Crowder when he's healthy, because 2 way wings are that rare. Ingram will be much better than that
Some guys are just born with the ability to read the game. I think Ingram has some of that in him on D. It just comes natural to him. Not saying he hasn't had some good coaching, but I think he reads that end of the floor damn well for his age.

exactly. his plays on D are a combination of great reads, and 'want to'. A lot of his helping, isn't even coached that much - and he makes the read and goes to help instantaneously --- and contest/disrupts the shot.

Agree. I think that the final ingredient to really open up his offensive arsenal will be to improve his dribble. If he can add some shake to lose his guy 1v1 then I can see 25 ppg as a formality for him.
I don't know what it is about him but Ingram seems like he'll have the longest leash out of our young core.
I honestly wouldn't mind if he focuses on being a 3 and D/Slasher wing for the first 2 years of his career while he works on his ball handling.
If he wants to be elite, he will need to have a good handle especially considering his height. The bright side is, I think he already has a better handle than Wiggins. That's not saying a lot but if Wiggins can average 20ppg this early in his career then so can Ingram. I'd be okay with 10-12ppg in his rookie season.
Ingram's length is scary. All of the troubles he had in Summer League that was shown in the video are very fixable. Ingram is gonna be a star in this league. _________________ I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

and i think that will come more naturally for him than my key to him being a #1 option scorer -- creating and making jumpers/shooting over guys
