If Young ends up staying and produces then I'd try and trade Lou for a defensive guard like Beverly. |

Bingo. |
So why not capitalize on a great asset like Lou instead of having that resource waste away until it's gone ? |
If he helps them win games, it's not wasting away until he's gone. But I agree that the Lakers should be actively shopping him. I just don't know what need the Lakers have, since they have most positions filled (their players are just young).
A 3&D 2, sure, but are you going to find one with Lou? |
Not many.
My pipe dream remains Ariza, but he's more of a SF/PF now. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Lou has value as a player, though I agree his ability to return a qualit 3&D player is questionable. Those are highly valued right now. Another way Lou is highly valued is his cost controlled deal. Maybe he could bring a quality wing who is due a big payday if the incumbent team doesn't want to pony up. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

Honestly, I'd trade anybody not a member of the youth core if a decent deal came along. |

Could New Orleans use some scoring without Anderson and Gordon? |

Young is going to be gone no matter what is my guess, but I would love to get Beverly on this roster.
I really like the way he pressures the ball, this team could use a player who could come off the bench and do that in spots. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I've come to peace with Lou. As long as we see him in small doses, I'm good. I think he can serve a role on Luke's O. Plus I don't think he'd fetch much in a trade. Maybe a 2nd rounder? Who knows. Nick, OTH, needs to go ASAP.

I like Beverley too and think that he would be a decent pick-up at a fairly low price if Houston was willing to deal.
Swaggy or Calderon for Beverley but Houston is not that stupid. |

it all depends on what we get back. same situation as nick young.
lou and nick are two of our most *skilled* shooters. why are we so eager to get rid of these guys? oh yea, because we had such a bad record...cuz we were tanking. makes no sense. keep them. if there's a better player, fine. but use what we already have. these guys like lou are not dime a dozen guys. |

I agree. I think Luke will use Lou better then Scott did... I'm just wondering why the Lakers are so eager to keep Lou especially considering that he's not gonna be apart of our team going forward. |
