Kobe's strong isolation play last season was just an extension of Byron's coaching. They resorted to ISO ball because he had no semblance of a game plan. It's coined Byron-ball on SS&R for a reason.

By the way, I'm not dogging on Kobe. I believe he did play the right way, and he did move the ball when he trusted his teammates. And I have nothing against ISO ball, if you're the most dominant offensive player in the game, which he was.

It takes a special player to be able to play that way and win. Jordan, Kobe....maybe a little Dwhistle and Bron....yeah that's about it. Everybody else, get in where you fit in.
