The team as a whole played very well. Everyone played their role to perfection. Kwame was BRILLIANT defensively tonight. Odom was all around and key on rebounds. Cook continued to be on FIRE. Kobe was like a breeze out there - blowing wherever he wanted to go, cutting up the defense, raising up over people like they weren't even there. Cook continued to be on FIRE! Devean was great tonight, extremely active especially on the offensive glass. Defense was superb, as all guys played together as a unit - they did a wonderful job on PnR/PnP defense tonight. Brian Cook continue to be on FIRE.

Just a very well played game. Helped that the refs didn't impact the game too much. There were no "odd" calls even if there were some mistakes.

We were playing like we did when we went 5-1 on that road trip earlier this year.

Spacing was good and we played a nice inside out game. I think that the Lakers need to be better at free throws. The % from the line is pathetic and won't cut it against better teams.

#8, and DG having 7 offensive RB's helped. Oh yea, having a 2nd scorer was a nice thing. Thats why a lot of us claim we need one. Its nice to occasionally have one of these guys step up, but every night. Boy oh Boy. RBS are much easier to replace

Kobe attacking and guys making shots when he passed so Roc couldn't key on him...

The difference is Phil finally woke up and put in guys who can actually move their feet and defend. Luke was out there in garbage time only, Sasha was out there for limited minutes as well. Which beg the question why at one stretch of games Cook was sitting on the bench while Luke was out there for major minutes killing the team.

quite possibly or maybe it's because of Kobe's assist and points and Cook's shooting permorfance. But i do agree that Houston struggled a bit in their offense as they only got about 78 points total.

Kobe took it upon himself, to get all his teammates involved... Kobe held himself back... He knew that Cook has been hot, so Kobe began to feed Cook.

Someone lit a fire under Kwame, and he effectively nullified Yao through the first half. Kwame was also active bringing down rebounds, and snatching loose balls. On offense, Kwame was effective going to the basket, for put-backs, or taking it all the way in.

When everyone starts getting involved, then good things tend to happen. Hidden talents begin to reemerge. Kobe still took over, when he felt he had to, but the teamwork did not just die out, as in the past.

I just remembered something... I'll bet Cook and George have begun to feel the challenge, from Turiaf... George, for one, tends to step up his game, when someone is challenging his position. I was playing around with the idea of Turiaf, at SF...

Kwame played a big part in our win tonight.

Kobe got the ball to the hot man.

Devon rebounded like a mad man.

Cook on fire again.

Kobe took matters in his own hands in the third.

Houston no heart.

and most importantly Puke didn't play
