Yi Jianlian that is.
Former lottery pick - spent time in Milwaukee and for Nets IIRC. |

It's not a camp invite if the motivation is to bring him back to the league... I'm interested to see the contract details if both sides come to a agreement. |

Me too. He can actually contribute at the NBA level now. I was joking about this exact move with my family a week ago after he was the only one putting up a fight against team USA. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

As an Asian, I'd be happy about the move, but as a Laker fan, I'm somewhat confused, would he be more of a situational big if we wanted to stretch the floor against teams? |

Lakers tried to bring back Yi last summer so this isn't overly shocking they must see something in him. |

I always like his skillset and just thought the NBA was too physical for him. His body looks very developed now and our style of play would really suit his skillset. It's a perfect fit IMO. Russell would love him. |

Hopefully this will fare better than the Sun Yue era. If so, Mitch strikes again _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

not a bad pick up for the 15th roster spot. (Looks like NY is on the move for sure)
Yi's 7"0, agile for his size, able to hit from the midrange area. He simply adds more versatility to the roster.
Also, http://www.lakersnation.com/lakers-rumors-l-a-in-advanced-discussions-to-sign-yi-jianlian/2016/08/16/
"In fact, Jianlian played at the Staples Center for China against Team USA last month. Lakers HC Luke Walton and GM Mitch Kupchak were in attendance for that game and apparently saw something they liked in Jianlian.
During Jianlian five seasons in the NBA, the forward averaged 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Jianlian shot 40.4 percent from the floor and 33.3 from beyond the arc" |

Yi has always shown that he has talent, hopefully playing in LA will strive him to reach some of his potential. |

We haven't signed Ingram yet to sign Yi?
Also, not excited about this and basically confused as to how he fits the team at all with Randle and Nance, why couldn't we just take a flyer on a young guy instead. |

If you're 7foot and not a stick you're a center in today's NBA. So, Black will be the guy most effected |
