But $60 for a roster update of 2k13/2k14 shows just how greedy 2k has become. It might be worth it for 15-20 bucks.
That being said, I believe the 2k series peaked with 2k11, so it's good to have a last gen system handy these days. It's been downhill since then IMO.
2K's team is lazy and slow but they do get the job done over time. Generally it takes them years to fine-tune a new engine...2K5 for instance I remember being better on Xbox than 2K6 was on the 360.
So judging by that timeline, if 2K11 had the best gameplay (which I generally agree with though I did like dribbling and shooting off dribble more in 2K12), then we should expect greatness out of 2K19. But 2K17 should be pretty damn good because I was a huge fan of 2K9 despite KG being on the cover...

Yup. 2k11 was the last one I purchased
I wouldn't waste my time or money buying 2k17 on ps3
I take it no wife or kids yet. Have too much to prioritize right now, let alone drop a few hundred on a game console which I play maybe once every few weeks. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Regardless don't waste the $60 for the ps3 version. Just download a free roster update. Especially if you don't really have time to play
Hell, 2k16 was free on PS4 last month. That's how I got it lol

My wifey is the toughest negotiator I have gone up against.
I'll probably end up getting it. It's been a ritual for the past 5-6 years. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

How are the pc ports on these games?
I played 2K14-16 on PC and they were all fine. Probably getting 17 on PS4 though.

I play with my bro, co-op on myGM.
We're just gonna bite the bullet our first season so the young guys improve.
We'll keep:
DLO
Clarkson
Ingram
Randle
Zubac
Nance
Everyone else will be shipped out in trades. Sorry Deng, Mozgov, Lou, Young, Calderon, Huertas, Yi, Black.
Might get some good value in return.
Will probably sign Lance Stephenson and Larry Sanders off the waiver wire. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Disagree a lot of things in 2k have come along way since 2k11, you notice it immediately when you go back and play 2k11 again. The dribbling alone is miles ahead of what it was back then.

Online community is way better on the consoles
Not sure how it's better on consoles, even though i play mostly on consoles but when i played it on pc it was fine and definitely looks much better.

I didn't play 2k16 on PC but I did 2K15 and the online community was like night and day compared to PS4. On PC a lot of the time MyPark was empty or just me and 2 other people not able to start a game. The few times I tried MyTeam you could never find a online opponent. Plus the hacking on PC was horrible. You would find deformed giants at MyPark with maxed out stats. I eventually switched to PS4 for NBA 2k15.
Not sure how it was for NBA 2k16 on PC, but I stuck to PS4 instead of getting the PC version this go around. I wish the online was the same as consoles because graphics and load times are obviously better on PC.
