vs Queens: W
@ Clippers: Tossup. L
vs Celtics: W

now, that is what the Lakers(even with Mihm injured) SHOULD go. 7-1. Maybe 8-0.
My prediction? 6-2. Loss to the Clippers(understandable, they are good this year) and 1 loss to a team we have no business losing to.
All in all, I would be happy with a 6-2 homestand. The schedule is very soft.

So is the second loss going to be to the Jazz? I only see you show losing to one team with no indication of who would win the Jazz game _________________ "Hate that I'm a veteran and a champion, hate that.

we're gonna win em all.
I think we'll need Mihm back to beat the clippers though. Odom has to play particularly well to beat Utah. Cook is the key vs the Grizz. The rest seem to be no brainers if we play with purpose and energy. Then again, we lost to the bobcats... |

Sorry I wasn't clear. The other loss(besides the clippers) I have no idea at all. I'm just gonna predict that the Lakers will lose 1 game to a crappy team. dunno who it will be. |

That schedule shapes up nicely. 8-0 is too adventerous for this team. 7-1 is possible if Mihm gets back and some things fall right. 6-2 sounds about right, though. Anything less is a big disappoinment with that scedule. |

WE WILL GET A "W" AGAINST THE CLIPPERS to show them who is the boss here in LA. Clippers might have a better record record than us, might be playing better than us because they have a really good supporting cast (Mobley & others), but when LAL plays LAC, LAL will win. Book it now. _________________ Be nice to Mitch and everyone in this planet. Never do evil or commit any act that might hurt others' feelings. We must all become environmentalists.

On the Grizz game...
Don't forget Mike Miller left last night's game with a pulled hammy.
They carried him off the court, not likely to see him on Saturday.
Gasol was out most of the 2nd half too (was he injured too?).
Stoudamire is still out for the Grizz as well.
To me every game on this homestand is very winnable. That said, as
a young team we can never seem to keep our focus.
I'll say 6-2.
I'll guess the two losses come vs. Kings and Celtics.
Kings because they still imagine some rivalry and tend to get very up for
us, and because Mike Bibby gives us fits. That and the addition of Artest
to hone in on Kobe, I'll peg that as a tougher game.
Clips has become a legit rivalry, at least for this year - but I think we owe
them some payback and need the win more... but after that win I think we
have that "psychological letdown game" directly afterwards and drop the
game to the Celts (who now have Wally World, who also has had some
success against us in past meetings). |

I wouldn't mind Lakers (8) VS Mavs (1) first round in playoffs, of course the more wins the merrier, but if mavs finish 1st, and it takes lil mroe time for us to get it together, why not |
