They both did, they both played for UCLA.

Glad to see a UCLA guy get a shot, but i don't think there is room for him to make the team unless he goes HAM in the preseason.

Likewise. He was always a pretty intriguing player to me.

Also, not sure why they're bringing in this guy and letting Henry go to Milwaukee. Weird.

Guessing the other 4 invites (excluding Auguste):
-PJ Hairston (assuming a team doesn't pick him up yet).
-Xavier Henry
-Xavier Munford
-Trevor Lacey

Out of all of those, PJ Hairston fills an immediate need if he can get his act together.

Henry is going to the Bucks.

I'm intrigued with PJ Hairston, though replacing one knucklehead with another may not be what Mitch wants.

Wow good luck to Henry then.

Hairston is still a young buck. Maybe some mentorship from Luke and the coaching staff will steer him in the right direction. I like what Steve Clifford said about him:

Quote:
“He has the size and strength to guard primary scorers,” Clifford said Thursday. “You have to have those guys. He is technically getting better. He’s bright. He’s been here now, so he knows what we’re doing.”

He's currently playing in the Italian league, which he announced on his Instagram a couple weeks ago. Wear looks like a potential stretch 4, certainly a different look than Auguste.

Seen Wear listed as a SF. Anyone familiar with his game enough to comment on his ability to play there. What position did he play in college and with the Knicks?

Some made a Steve Novak comparison. Watching the clips he seems a bit more athletic and a better ball handler the Novak. Not the shooting percentage though.

Anyone see a potential Danilo Gallinari?

Too bad about Henry. Would have liked to see him back. Hairston will be interesting to see if they get his attitude on track.

Watching his highlights, he plays like Jon Leuer's clone.

Both are the same size and have perimeter oriented play styles, though Leuer is slightly more explosive.

Why though? This is a camp signing. Slim chance he makes the roster.
