Without CP3 that trio doesn't work. Wouldn't be surprised if DJ is the only one left....pretty funny considering they locked him in his hotel room to get him to resign with the Clippers. |

I was certainly guilty of that, in fact I was pimping Ryno harder than Bill Cowher (father in law) was.
To say it didn't work out would be an understatement.
My bad, I have to own that one.... |
I blame you for us essentially choosing him over Kent Bazemore! |

He's knees would be shot at the pace MDA wants to run.
CP3 needs the ball in his hand to control the game..why take the ball away from Harden who just had a Co-MVP type season playing the 1. |
That's why it would be interesting to watch. |
lol I agree. ! It would also be interesting to see how quick the Clippers fall off the radar

DeAndre Jordan is going to get what he deserves for screwing Dallas last year. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Well as of right now, he's their starting shooting guard. That's if CP3 stays. Redick is basically as good as gone IMO. |

Austin was pretty good this year no?
Still only 24 years old. I think he'll be a good backup PG. |

A competent owner would've fired him once he heard Porky was on the trading block. |

Hopefully he goes to Montana and not to L.A. |

Melo has to approve any trade. Porky doesn't. So if you want an FU trade, how about Randle and Kuzma and Thomas Bryant and the 2020 1st round pick for Porky? (Yes, I realize that would never happen.) |

I dont really understand the CP3 to Houston thing unless Harden is tired of playmaking and just wants to jack up shots all day. he kind of does that anyway, but CP3 would run the offense. dunno if it would work.
Just my opinion, but if CP3 leaves I think its more likely that Blake will stay with the Clippers. If both of them leave they'll be in deep (bleep). Gotta rebuild around Jordan, lol. |

Heard Blake is tired of CP3s leadership, so one of them if not both are goners.
If DJ is left alone in LA, thats karma for what he did to the Mavs last offseason.

I can't believe Houston would be better with Harden off the ball. Weird that Harden is all in on this. Would Mike D. be ok with this? |
Not weird. Harden doesn't seem to have an issue with sharing or changes if it will help win games. He was ok coming off the bench in OKC and didn't want to leave. He was fine giving Dwigt post touches even though it wasn't effective. He was fine with a new coach having him switch positions last year.
He's got his flaws but that's not one. |

I could see MDA putting CP3 in a better position to succeed on the Rockets vs the Clippers. |

Losing CP3 would be a monumental loss for Jerry West and the Clippers. |

Story going online now: League sources tell me Houston has emerged as an increasingly serious threat to sign Chris Paul in free agency. |
I don't see how this happens, so I'll wait for story. They have about ~9 in cap space and would need to clear ~20 mill. They'd have to trade Ariza, Lou, and Beverley by my math (and I'm sure teams will absorb them, including potentially us). I guess we'll see. |
Ariza and a Bev are positive assets. We could get picks for them. Anderson has a $20M contract. He's the one that would have to go and would likely cost something to get rid of. If a miracle occurs and CP3 picks us over extra $$ in LA or the Spurs, we'd likely dump Anderson and 2 of Gordon/Beverly/Lou, and I'm sure we could get a pick for the each of those guards. |

Only weird that both are best with the ball in their hands.
True or false? |

Ya trading Anderson would be the best bet, I don't know how costly that would be for Rockets. Maybe the Nets will take him too. |
