With LeBron likely leaving at the end of the season they would be in full rebuild mode. Just not sure what else the Spurs could offer that the Cavs would be interested in. Possibly a third team would have to get involved. |
So Kyrie for cap space? Huh... |

Trading for LeBron makes even less sense than trading for Kyrie.
Also LeBron has a no trade clause, he isn't waiving it to come to a Lakers team that trades away pieces to obtain him. He's not that stupid, and neither should the Lakers be. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Theoretically, he can always say I'll waive my no-trade clause if the package is Deng... and that's about it. |

the Lakers should move anything not named Ingram and Ball to get Lebron, and Lebron would likely waive his no trade to get out of Cleveland. If he comes, he is coming to play with Lonzo, Brandon and FA's.....doubt he cares much about Randle, Clarkson or anyone else. |

I doubt anyone could offer a package that would be worth it for the Cavs. Lebron might leave before Kyrie. |

Magic and Rob need to see if they can acquire Lebron immediately. If Lebron tells his FO "I'm going to LA next year", Cleveland would be much better off building around a younger kyrie instead of losing both
Lebron
For
Clarkson, Randle,, zu, unprotected 2020 1st, top 10 protected 2022
Is a pretty decent haul for a one year rental and they still keep kyrie and love and just build around that. |
why? |

Randle and Clarkson are probably goners anyways, and I'm not too worried about a couple of late first rounders if it means a top 5-6 team in the West (and thus probably the League), not giving Boston our pick, and a better chance to have LeBron plus another max FA last year.
I'd do Randle/JC/2020, 2022 first rounders for LBJ all day. |

SAS says Kyrie's #1 destination is Minnesota. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Given that Wiggins is one of the worst defenders in the NBA, I'd trade him for Kyrie. |

He has been playing pickup at UCLA with JB and Melo and others.
Would love to see how coach handles Kyrie not playing D. |

True that. It's pretty incredible the amount of "reporters" around the NBA yet the big news always comes from the same 2-3 guys. Now with Woj sharing his stuff with others, maybe 4-5. |

Easier said than done. They'll probably have to give up assets to move some of these contracts. |
Not really. Cavs have never been a free agent destination even with Lebron. I Doubt in a full rebuild they would go out of their way to get rid of their contracts. They would be just asset collecting at that point. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Why would Minni trade Wiggins for kyrie?
The most they should offer is future draft picks and Teague. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
