Was listening last night to Bill Simmons' podcast with coincidentally Richard Jefferson and he joked that RJ will end up playing in LA next season also he can be with Luke and start his post basketball media career.

The main thing is really that he's one of Luke's best friends. IIRC they were roommates at Arizona |

Over rj being available. And over the Lakers FO wanting him? |
That's the main reason the Lakers would be a realistic landing spot should he become available. |

They would have to take less for two years, they would only be eligible for a 120% raise in year two and it would have to be using cap space.
