Dream scenario for me is GSW wins this year and maybe even next year. KD says I’m a champion, whatever. I want to go win one for OKC now, just like Lebron did for Cleveland. Or maybe he goes to Washington.

So after we get Lebron , PG next year, GSW will be weakened in 2019 offseason and we will be able to legitimately compete in year 2 of Lebron/PG, and Ingram and ball will be veterans by then

Good example of how dominant that Warrior team is

Caruso is the only one who has a 2-way contract

Chris Haynes reported Lakers offered Iggy a 1 year/$20 mill at 9:01. That would seem to indicate he was our #1 target. Interesting.

Signing Iggy would have been a nice move.

Cool. Smart and knows the system. And he likes to shout "My D***"
Anyway, glad we have KCP instead.

Philly wants to dump Okafor

How about

Philly gets

Deng From Lakers
Portis from Chi
future 1st from Lakers

Chi gets
Clarkson from Lakers
Bayless from Phi
Okafor from Phi
Future 2nd from Lakers

Lakers get
Wade

^ I don't see 76ers taking on Deng as they want to contend and have to start paying their young guys.

Let me ask you, if you were running the 76ers with their promising young core, would you trade Okafor who's technically an expiring contract, and an unobtrusive contract like Bayless' and eat Deng's crippling contract and all you get in return is what will likely amount to a late 1st and Bobby freaking Portis?

How about this trade?

76ers get: Clarkson
Bulls get: Okafor, Deng, and our 2020 1st
Lakers get: Wade

Philly gets JC to give them some bench scoring and help them try and make the playoffs.

Chicago continues to rebuild getting Okafor who could benefit from a change of scenery and playing back home, a future draft pick, and Deng who Bulls fans love and can help mentor their young players.

We get rid of Deng and JC giving us enough cap space for two max contracts next summer. Wade still has some gas left in the tank and can help us win this season and help recruit his buddy LeBron to join us next season.

It'll take more to unload Deng in either proposal with the cap not going up much. I'd say bare minimum they're adding Nance or Zubac, lower protection on that pick (say top 3 when we're hoping for 10 if they strike out in FA) and a 2nd.

Even then we're kidding our selves if we think Deng's leadership holds much weight with that deal. He could be a two 1st rounder liability. I get that LA doesn't want to deal Nance and we'd be selling Zubac low, I'm just saying those scenarios need more to be realistic.

Keith Pompey: Brown said Sixers will check with the rest of the league to see what’s out there for Jahlil Okafor – via Twitter PompeyOnSixers

Yikes. Say what you want about DLO, but he helped us get rid of Moz, gave us Brook, and a 1st rounder that was used for Kuz.

I've seen him play a few times in person. Beautiful low post game. I'll give him that.

But on defense, literally zero effort. Doesn't even run back on transition defense. It's pretty brutal to watch b/c the TV cameras don't catch how he barley jogs back. I was so wrong about his game at the time. Thought he could improve his motor.

Yeah, that is a tough one. KCP is a lot younger so there is that, but if both would only be here for 1 year I guess the age would not matter as much.

I like KCP better b/c he can guard PGs full time and/or the toughest perimeter threat for Lonzo. Good synergy IMO with Lonzo. Iggy, love him too, but not sure he can do that. He's more of a SG-SF hybrid who is strong enough to check small ball PFs.

It's a shame he could have been a decent 5, if he even improved to around the NBA average defensively his value would pick up.

We probably would have gotten Drummond, if we didn't get Lopez.
