But he's not ok with it. If he were then he'd be a Blazer already. NY is hoping he will eventually change his mind.

Have you seen this?

Just saw it. Cavs were on his list originally. Key is who is the other team. If Portland I would expect a leak to come soon since they have been recruiting.

I'm guessing the list includes Portland as well and that goes with yesterday's reports. I'm expecting a Melo to Portland trade any minute now unless the Cavs are dumb enough to trade the Nets pick.

Any idea what the Blazers are gonna give up?

Got no idea. You could probably find something in Blazers forums.

After reading this, it appears that:

1) The third team is not Portland.

2) Houston is still his preference.

3) Melo didn't just increase his list. He did it within the past 10 days. Big difference. If he just did it then NY just got him to cave and now can try to get deals. If he did it days ago then they have had all this time and haven't been able to get a deal. So either NY leaked this to get better offers or Melo leaked it to show folks he's been cooperating.

That's way to much value man, and the Knicks would be acting arrogant asking for picks and another filler like Kuzma

Knicks have no leverage.

If Lakers want Melo start off the trade with a cheap package

If the unknown team isn't Portland, then I'm guessing it's either the Clippers or Boston.

Whoever it is, they and the Cavs have had days (possibly 10?) to give a competitive offer and haven't. And Houston has had all summer.

So what ya wanna do NY? Apparently no one is offering anything significant for him.

I actually would be very curious to see how Melo and Harden + CP3 would fit, it will be must see tv

They have nothing to offer, the only contract they use can is Kanters and trading for him is suicidal for a team like NY who are trying to rebuild with young players.

You'd see more of "Olympic Melo". He'd play PF a be a defensive liability, along with Harden at SG. But that would be no different than having Ryan Anderson at PF.

I wonder if team 3 is OKC or Miami.

I would love to see Melo and Westbrook on the same team just to see them choke each other out.

As @JeffZillgitt reports, Cavs appear to have no interest in giving up that 2018 first rounder in a Melo deal http://amp.usatoday.com/story/695658001/
