I think Wade might go back to Miami so he can be close to his kids because they are starting school down there.

That makes sense and I have thought that Lebron might end up there too.

Two chances that the Lakers would be in the running for Wade's services....slim and none.

Keep dreaming. He is going to a contender to gravy train the end of his career.

He's looking at schools in Los Angeles for his children, to join a team in Miami that will have $147 million in team salary on the books? Hmmm

Don't Lakers already have 15 guaranteed contracts? I guess Bogut is partially guaranteed but I'd expect him to be on roster. Signing Wade doesn't make sense unless they can move Deng or Clarkson.

at this point in their careers, Clarkson is a superior player to Wade, and if you have a desire to move Clarkson's contract, you want to maximize his production on the court. I think acquiring Wade would diminish Clarkson's production similar to how Lou Will did last year.

it really could be if they all accepted their roles. If Melo embraced playing the #4, he could actually have a few more good years.

There are story lines a plenty this year. The last dominoes that need to drop are Clarkson and Deng gone for expiring deals.

Then the Laker's will be looming as the biggest free agent draw this upcoming summer with a bunch of super teams battling it out this year. It will be the most provocative season in years.

The Los Angeles Lakers are going into training camp with the maximum 20 players but that doesn’t mean they are completely done with setting the roster.

According to Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype, the Lakers have reached out to Dwyane Wade in gauging his interest towards signing with them.

I doubt that Dominos delivers.

It gives us a good potential outlook if Wade passes up contending teams to join the Lakers, it must mean that FAs are now taking us serious.

Major props to Magic and Pelinka if they bring in Wade after just signing a solid vet in Bogut.

I highly doubt Wade join the Lakers this season. My guess is this is our front office trying to plant some early seeds for next off-season; since Wade would be a nice vet-min signing to come play with some newly acquired superstars.... aka the situation he's in right now.

Bogut did it, and if Wades wife wants to be in LA then it can happen, people think contending teams can sign who ever they want but life style and entertainment is also a factor especially for a marketing player like Wade.

There's no foreseeable benefit for the Lakers in signing him when it comes to actual basketball. Where would he fit? It would make zero sense to downgrade the starting backcourt by making KCP come off the bench. They didn't sign KCP to that contract so he could compete with Clarkson as the sixth man, especially since they're in desperate need of his defense. So does Wade come off the bench then? Can't see why he'd agree to that when he can join teams like Miami, CLE, or OKC and be a starter. Besides, he and Clarkson together would be nightmarish. The offense would become a game of HORSE between the two of them whenever they're on the floor together.

But if anything I hope he goes to OKC just so they'd have yet another guy who will take shots away from George and frustrate him Forcing him to sit through a season long chuck fest with all of those guys would probably diminish the possibility of him wanting to stay beyond this one, obligated season that he has to endure.
