We will pursue him and we give him no chance to win a title.

I doubt we go after CP3, Lowry is more likely.

A guy known for disappearing in the playoffs, just what we need

He's also been playing injured in the last 2 years during the playoffs, I always value players who give it there all despite not being 100%

Look at this article from the trade deadline and connect the dots on rather the Lakers will push for PG13 now or 2018.. you can see Magics desire to get Paul George when the opportunity is there just read this article and find out.

My point is that, Magic wanted to get him at the TD even though there was talk about Paul George joining in 2018, that gives you a hint of what to potentially expect this summer, Magic is a opportunitistic person.

If we end up getting Lowry this is the type of games we can be seeing. and people who bring up his playoff woes despite the fact that he was playing injured in the last 2 years in the playoffs is arrogant.

Apparently I'm arrogant, didn't realize going after a poster's character was still cool here. Filling a max slot on a PG on the wrong side of 30(31) does not seem like a good idea to me.

A source from another NBA team (not the Mavs) tells me that there will be “multiple” clubs willing to pay Noel his max once he hits the restricted-free-agent market on July 1. And just so there is no confusion as to what that “max” is: Assuming the cap at $101 million, as the NBA is expecting, Noel’s contract can start at 25 percent of the cap with eight-percent annual raises. That equals $25.25 mil as his starting salary and about $146.45 million over five years.

So you want us to use our cap space on a 30 year old point guard who has had recent injury issues, which then eliminates our chances of signing Paul George next year, all while likely drafting a point guard in ball?

Why not go after Paul George now and then go after a star FA?

Wowsers. Noel is not worth 25% of your cap. Who will be the sucker?

Forwards

Andre Iguodala, Jeff Green, Taj Gibson, David West, Ersan Ilyasova, Nikola Mirotic

Centers

If we are aiming for pg13 via FA in 2018 we need 1 year deals.

I wouldn't mind giving Livingston a big 1 year deal. Good mentor for our guards with his knowledge of the system and he can play next to any of them. Not sure if he'd take a 1 year deal, but maybe if it was in the $12-15 million range.

If we don't get PG13 we will go to Plan B and C, which is Jimmy Butler and Carmelo Anthony, come on this is Magic we are talking about.

Mo Speights and Patty Mills will be nice, 2 known shooters who can help with our lack of 3pt

Trade for Pau Gasol (an expiring contract) and the Spurs draft picks in exchange for our cap space.
