This dropping now, right before the draft? I have to think something is cooking. Woj even name checks Randle in the article.

Very interesting.

Exactly! It's either free agency or taking our junk plus a draft pick. No core players.

Randle, Clarkson and 28 is all I would give the pacers.

Try to fill that PF spot in Free Agency with either Blake or Ibaka

Zu
Griffin
George
DLo
Lonzo

Bench would need some work but Ingram, Nance, Brewer, Nawaba, Ennis is a start

Offer the Pacers Clarkson, Black, and #28 pick + a 2nd rd pick

They have 0 leverage now.

If a trade happens now involving PG13, we need to get the Kings 5/10 picks so we can dangle the 10th pick to Indiana, draft night is gonna be wild.

There's no need to even offer Randle

We will wait and sign him

Also remember Randle (and DLO) and PG13 share the same agent. I'm sure the agent will do everything he can keep all 3 in LA. That leaves JC+? Nance or Zu?+28? Will be curious on what Boston will offer.

Ainge would be dumbass to trade for PG. Magic can sell PG on becoming a Laker Legend just by screwing Boston and leaving them with nothing.

Saw in Hoophype that Paul George wants to play for the Lakers after he is a free agent next year.

Why not offer the Pacers the 28th, Clarkson, and a second round pick for George?

This is a steal, but if George wants to go to the Lakers, this means the Pacers at least get some value for George.

But only if George agrees to a full max contract.

Maybe it would be better to be patient and wait.

Trading Randle/Russell/2 pick/ Ingram for this guy would be beyond stupid. If they want Clarkson or the 28, go crazy. I'd even hesitate to trade Nance to Indy. The Pacers have 0 leverage. Let's make a Kings/Pels type trade lol

Lakers would be stupid not to make an offer. At most Randle or Clarkson with #28 and Den 2nd. Young core is still intact, have a star player, can try to trade or stretch either Moz or Deng to bring in another good FA. Gives the team a good mix of vets and young guys and makes the Lakers relevant again. Cant ask for more at this point.

If you traded Jordan, Randle, Deng & #28 for George and either Monta or Jefferson I believe you would have almost exactly a max slot to offer Griffin.

Lonzo, Russell, George, Ingram and Griffin is a five man crew that can all shoot and pass. Some defensive difficulties but you can bring in Nance and Nwaba as specialists. You also have your big in Moz with his replacement in training Zu..
