It's a training camp deal (same as Wear, Jacobs). They had 2 slots to fill to reach the maximum of 20 and Metta is now confirmed to be one of them. |

at one time or another you have had the Lakers signing or trading for every player that has ever played in the NBA you cant get credit when one actually happens |

he thinks he can still avg 20 and 10 in the league, this move will show him its time to hang em up and become a coach with the team |

He seemed to be a good influence on Randle. Obviously it is normal to sign vets to help the young guys.
He probably won't make the team but it wouldn't be that bad if he did. As long as he gets no meaningful minutes. He shouldn't be here to actually play. I don't think there is going to be any room for him. Waiving Nick will create a roster spot but I think Auguste would get that spot. Well depends how he plays during training camp. |
