Quote:
It was announced September 13 that 28- year-old comedian Melissa Villaseñor would be joining Saturday Night Live as its first Latina cast member. However, attention to has been drawn to the deletion of almost 2,000 tweets from her Twitter account as well as the content of some posts that were, until recently, still published.
Writer Aura Bogado noticed her mass clear out and investigated further. In a series of tweets, Bogado wrote that she was disappointed with a number of remarks tweeted out by Villaseñor. She shared a number of them to her followers, but they were quickly deleted by the comedian.
Some of the seemingly prejudiced comments from the new SNL cast member included comparing a dog to “an old Japanese man” and stating that she was “scared” about being set up on a date with a black man.
You can see some of Bogado’s tweets below, as well as some screenshots of the comments allegedly tweeted by Villaseñor
Seriously. Minorities can be extremely prejudiced towards other minorities, even within the same race...
E.G. Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese looking down on the Vietnamese.
And all 4 hate each other, they also look down upon Blacks, Latinos, etc. However all 4 seem to love to kiss white ass. The intermarriage with whites is high for the ones living in the west.

From my personal experience. Alot of my white guy friends like Asian ladies. Seems more common than Asian Guy/white lady pairings. Not sure why.
I've only dated 2 people my whole life who were the same race as I am (black). But every place I've worked at or gone to school at has been predominantly white, in general. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

In the mid-to-late 90's, among gang members and in low-income neighborhoods (where I was growing up), African-Americans and Mexican-Americans were at war for a good minute. It was real bad.
I have to admit that I was curious to see if the uproar over the new SNL comedian was being brought to task for saying racist things about white people.
Also, it's interesting to see the same WITHIN cultures. The darker the skin, the more you are the object of criticism and mean-spirited jokes. _________________ We back.

With some Asians that I know, you only marry Asian or white. _________________ We back.

I went the other way. I married a white woman and I'm latino. _________________ Thank you, Kobe. We love you.

That poor taste tweet by Larry, Jr. regarding Kobe from 2010 or thereabouts was already unearthed while he was busy being drafted. Internets... The thing is that there is much less forgiveness and much more contrived shock when an old tweet which may have been written on a dipshh day is uncovered than there would be if all the parties were physically present. The offending person may be truly contrite and admit to themselves something like, "Larry...that was one stupid post, why'd you hit send, you idiot?". That's basically what Larry thought when saw that old quip, but contrition and recognition of your idiot comment doesn't convey in this stupid medium. Plus, if you've offended Millennials, forget it. They take Gore's internets way too seriously. Their entire generation is a freelance shame squad. It's literally part of their lives and their personalities are tied to it. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

I can think of only two instances of Twitter pasts being scrutinized under such circumstances. This woman and Trevor Noah . . . hmmmm. Interesting eh? _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Nah just off the top of my head Larry Nance Jr and Jared Goff both had things dug up from their Twitter page. One of the biggest NBA threads on reddit from the last few months was screenshots of tweets from ballers before they became famous. I know there are tons of other instances. It's practically a cottage industry where people are just waiting to pounce on a celebrity/famous person to slip up. It's pretty funny how it's gotten in that regard and to be perfectly frank, LG OT is a bastion of selective outrage.

I don't think it's solely a millenial thing. I've seen posts in OT from much older posters that practically brag about their ability to multi-task their outrage. It's effing ridiculous.
