I was only half joking but it seems Derek put out a tweet before the press release came out... |

Derek gotta keep those coins coming in. Man has got serious alimony and a 'trade-up' to maintain. Those Birkin Bags aren't gonna buy themselves. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

Probably won't have to worry about that since Matt Barnes is probably the worst player in the league at this point. |

Of all the players off those championship teams that I thought would spend most of their post-playing time trying to get laid (I thought Fox) Fisher was not one. |

Barnes and his wife broke up, she'd moved on. Barnes was still in stalker mode that when he heard she was moving on with Fisher he drove 100 miles to try to beat him up over a girl he no longer had.
Somehow I don't get how Barnes isn't the one taking the L for that.
This is the same guy that was letting his girl make out with his bodyguard and didn't think anything was gonna come from it. |

I don't think Fox ever had to try. |

The guys attacking Fisher for violating the "bros before hoes" code are the same ones calling Russell a snitch. It's incomprehensibly stupid. Fisher can do whatever the (bleep) he wants. If someone is 100+ miles from me, he ain't no bro. |

I honestly think having Fisher is good, I don't think he's gonna stick up for anyone and is gonna say what he feels is right. |

Possibly once every blue moon. Zero chance he does it permanently. Kobe has so much going on right now with his new investment company etc. |

Is this the official "gunning for the head coach" seat? Lets see how fair he is to Walton, we know he wants his job, just as Byron wanted MDA's. |

Lol. I mean, while I agree that the "bros before hoes" thing is highly stupid and misogynistic for a few reasons, I wouldn't say distance is one of the reasons. Sounds you're saying going on a road trip gives your boys license to have a go with your girlfriend, spouse, significant other. |

It's going to be great having D-Fish back in the organization. I hope he brings an honest, fresh, new perspective to the crew.
He has a vast amount of knowledge of the inner-workings of basketball on and off the court as well as from the coaching/management aspect of the game.
His experience as a player, coach, player rep and players association president should make him a unique addition to the broadcast. |

I know we all joke but him trying to sabotage Luke is something I could have easily seen him do. I don't even think he was considered an assistant coaching candidate. |
