We know the 3ball will be a big part of our offense. We have several players that can stroke it. My money is on BI. His stroke is pure and this offense is tailor made for him. Who you got LG?

We have one guy that is a proven 3 point shooter, Calderon. Everyone else is mediocre, Lou, Deng, Clarkson, Young or based on potential, Russell, Ingram, Brown. They have to prove themselves before you say "they can stroke it".

Agreed. IIRC he's been 41%+ in each of the last 4 years.

3pt threat? Tougher to answer.

If Calderon is playing 10 mins/game he wont be the biggest threat even if the best percentage shooter.

It'll probably be DLO. I've yet to see JC or any other rostered player get hot, like superstar hot, the way DLO did at 19.

Calderon will be our best three point shooter, based on pure efficiency, but D'Lo will most likely be the guy with the most makes at a decent clip.

Yeah, the thread is a little confusing. The title says pct, the poll says "threat".

To me the latter has a volume component the former does not

if we talk percentage is Calderon 100%
If we count the number of 3s per game, it will be Dlo.

He could be now that he's going to settle fully into the SHOOTING guard role and not worry about playmaking at the "PG" spot.

If we are using a combination of:

1. highest 3%
2. most made 3s

DLO.

I think Ingram, just because other teams can't alter his stroke when he elevates. They'd have to put someone like AD on him to have an impact defensively.

I think he may be a 40+% 3 point shooter in his hey day.

But as a rookie, not sure he will lead in 3% as you have more accurate guys like Calderon. There's a reason why rookies don't usually shoot 40% from 3s; there is such an adjustment to distance and speed of the game.

I have the same thought unless Calderon plays more minutes than I anticipate.

Biggest threat? Probably Russell
