I like the second unit overall. They're just more talented and super athletic.

Stop it, you'd like the 3rd unit if JC was on it.
He'd never be on the 3rd unit. It wasn't just JC but they all played great and was unselfish.

He shouldn't be on the 2nd unit either. Give him his starting gig back and figure out something else to do with Lou. Tired of watching him hijack the offense

Forgot about Lillard. Even Lowry is pretty shot happy.

So who fits the bill? CP3, John Wall, and... Mike Conley? Anyone else who's a Top 10 point who's the traditional point guard archetype?
dlo will be Kylie but better defender and 3baller
Lol I don't know about that, doesn't have the handles, quickness, or scoring creativity of Irving.

Would like to see him play as well as rookie year Irving first. 19/5/5 on efficient shooting would be nice.

Gotta love preseason overreactions.

We won 17 games last year so I'm not sure if we could call any team awful. Sacto and Denver both won 33 games last year so I don't think they will be any different. I don't get why when we beat a team and then people start to talk down about the opponent. Whoever on that Sacto roster are NBA quality players. I thought that 2nd Lakers unit just completely outplayed the Sacto 2nd unit. Maybe it's time we give some credits to Luke and his coaching staff for turning the franchise around. It's a good start and hopefully a sign of more good things to come.

The team did good. Let's look for a great preseason and regular season.

your PG isn't going to rack up assists if he's flanked by iso scorers like Williams and Randle. You put someone like Nance in there that helps keep the offense moving and everything would look different.

That it's the pre-season and he's evaluating guys and looking at line ups?

Come on, my bro...

He was thinking it's pre-season and he said earlier he was going to look at different lineups.

It is not merit of preseason only, last season is taken into consideration. Just like last season, in this game, the starters are awful.

Luke went 17 deep tonight so at least we will have some film to evaluate most of the guys effort this game. Swaggy, MWP, Auguste - DNP.

Can't wait for the next game!

Tarik was beasting!

AB3, T-Rob & Calderon were impressive off the bench late.

Gets it.

This is a preseason game and some people are seriously throwing shade at DLO as not a good PG?? After one preseason game with an undeveloped offense, against Sac's starters, with little time to develop counters when the other team's defense disrupts the play, and 2 players in JR and Lou still stuck in ISO mode?

I'm just glad we won and I saw a lot to be happy about in the midst of the sloppiness expected in a first preseason game. A LOT to be happy about.

Close range. But he is strong, hustles and plays defense better than most.
Good team player.
Was 3 - 3 tonight w/ 7 rebounds. Don't discount him; he is a hungry grown man!

Also - I think Clarkson's going to be first unit sooner than later. DLO and Clarkson are dangerous together.

No doubt!

We need his energy and scoring punch early to cure these slow starts that we have been known for the last few seasons.

Man, that Papagiannis dude looked like a stiff. Dunno what they see in him, but maybe it was just a bad night.

I thought we were gonna get smoked after the second quarter, but we did the smoking dammit!
