I don't know how often we'll get updates throughout this season on the "Winner's Board" up at the Laker practice facility, but it could be fun to check in on over time. As of 10/3/16, standings are:

    1. Russell - 19
    2. Williams - 18
    2. Robinson - 18
    4. Ingram - 16
    5. World Peace - 15
    6. Randle - 14
    6. Mozogv - 14
    6. Clarkson - 14
    9. Yi - 14
    10. Black - 13
    10. Young - 13
    10. Zubac - 13
    13. Huertas - 12
    14. Wear - 11
    14. Calderon - 11
    16. Deng - 10
    17. Nance - 9
    18. Auguste - 8
    18. Brown - 8
    20. Jacobs - 7

For what I thought of as a training camp signee, Robinson is really high on the list. I also expected to see Deng & Nance higher, but it's super early in the season.

Side note - would have loved to see this board back in the young Kobe days!

Hopefully 19 isn't the number of actual NBA wins this season. (I think/hope we will be in the high 20s/maybe 30).

What exactly does a person need to do to get a point?

On Lakers winners board, points are awarded to a player who wins the drill. Can range from 1 on 1, conditioning drill, shooting contest, etc

Deng and Nance aren't really known for one-on-one play, so not surprising. Agree that it'd be awesome to see young Kobe's results. He'd likely never lose.

Good to know. I thought it was just for the one-on-one contests.

Is it just me, or does that seem like a ton of competitive drills to complete in 4-5 days? Looks like between 250-300. Is my math right, over 50 a day? Just don't seem to add up if you allocate 10 minutes per drill.

You say that but Nance is just 1 point above him. I thought he would have been higher honestly. Robinson is the most surprising. He may be a sleeper to make the roster.

It is a great way to show the competitive nature of our guys and for bragging rights. Russell on top is great! Also, Ingram in top 5 is nice as well.

Depends on the length of the drill. If you're doing a shooting competition and go first to 10, for pros, that can take a minute long.

I'd imagine each player gets a point for 5-on-5 drills if his team wins as well.
