I think it's a safe bet that he'll make the roster. Dude is just too seasoned and athletic not to. |

Is it safe to say? Do we have the space?
In any event I hope he does make it somewhere. Very nice game from him today... |

I think he makes the team. Nick young is expendable if brown keeps playing like tonight. Browns defense will always be there even when his shot isn't |

I think he "potentially" can be a real deal big time steal for the lakers.
It's all about the minutes for him at this stage when looking at what he did near the end of last season.
In this game he was 8 and 7 in 7 minutes , that is the way to start getting more minutes.
In the 14/15 season with Philly, he played in 22 games, he averaged 18 minutes per game, averaged 9 points and 8 boards. That is a 18 and 16 per 36.
Last season towards the end of the season in 6 games that he actually got to play 27 or more minutes, he averaged 17 points per games, with 14 boards .... in 31 minutes per game, that is about 20 and 16 per 36.
We shall see, but I for one want to see him get more burn, could very well be a keeper, and one that really helps this team, as I mentioned, a real steal in the making... |

Very good game for a 3rd string player, I think we should find a roster spot for him if he can keep it going this way otherwise he is going to find a home in another team, because he was looking like NBA talent. |

I urge everyone to remember the competition. Dominating Skal and Papagiannis doesn't really say that much.
He looked good today but it's hard to say how much will translate over. Reminder how good Huertas, Kobe, and Hibbert looked last preseason |

He looked good.
It was against 3rd stringers though
He definitely earned the right for more PT, maybe against 2nd stringers, to show what he can do. _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

This is how he looks whenever he plays. The competition doesn't matter. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |

As I mentioned above, 18 and 16 per 36 in 14/15 with Philly, and when given minutes in 6 games last season towards the end, a 20 and 16 per 36 closing out the season...
I have a strong feeling he is not only going to stick, but be a major steal for us. Mitch still has that magic wand it appears... |

I watched Thomas Robinson play against quality NBA teams, in regular season games, and he could beast on them as well. He doesn't just play good against scrubs. |

He's shown what he can do against first and second stringers, for several seasons. Tonight was not some 'third stringer' fluke. |

Robinson has his weaknesses, like outside shooting and understanding a motion offense well, but if you need a guy to come in with energy, beast on defense and clean up around the rim, and play with a ton of energy, Robinson's a great choice. Great choice as a role player for a good team. |

Maybe in past years, but on this team I dont know where he would get PT. Which is why I would would probably keep Yi over TRob, due to Yi being more valuable trade asset than those 3rd string minutes TRob would get. He deserves to be in a rotation somewhere. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' My hopes are the lakers keep both, and after a little more of T-Rob doing what I think he will the lakers will keep him. As for minutes, he keeps doing his thing, the minutes will come... |

Yeah you hit on the same quandary I'm in regarding Robinson. He belongs on a rotation on an NBA team somewhere, he is legit NBA talent. Problem is, where does he carve out playing time when we have Randle, Nance and Deng all deserving 4 time, and Mosgov, Black, and Yi/Zublocka at 5? Zubac has too much potential and we shouldn't cut him. Yi looked a bit vulnerable tonight but he reportedly can hit from outside. Nobody else is touchable, and keeping Deng at 3 would limit Ingram. Tough call. |

If as good as some of you are making him out to be, is he worth trading Randle? I'm only thinking about it because I'm in favor of trading Randle in general. I like Nance a lot more than him and I feel like we would be a much better team if we could get something good back for him and if we could package Randle/Lou/Young for something good back it would open up minutes for TRob. |

Zu is D-Fender bound. Moz is due 26 mpg. That leaves 22 mpg for Randle, Black and Yi. No time there unless your resting guys. Robinson's future is at forward, especially if he can learn to defend the perimeter. His athleticism and rebounding leveraged with that make him interesting. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

T-Rob looked good and played fairly well last season. I'm sure he'll get some more playing time in order for the coaches to properly evaluate him.
IMO in our present state everyone on this team could be expendable if the price is right, from the 15th man on up to the team owners. |
