T-Rob might end up playing himself in to a decent payday this off-season. Don't see us keeping both him and Black, so it'll be interesting to see what we do. Black should be easy to move if we choose to go that route, and Robinson won't be more than 5 or 6 mil per I'm guessing. If it comes to it, I think I'd pick T-Rob. More versatile IMO |

I appreciate his effort, especially on a night like tonight where we came out flat, but dude is brutal defensively. I miss T-Black. |

Who's ceiling is higher and fits our system though? I see shades of Tristan in his game. |

Is it him or this insanely basic switch everything crap defense we run putting him in bad matchups? |

Black is already an NBA rotation player. Robinson may never get there. He works and works, but there's not much more than that. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

No, it's him. Those aren't the situations I'm referring to. There are a lot of times where he forgets to rotate. It usually results in a wide open 3. I'll do a video on this game and will point it out, it happened several times. |

Thank GT I noticed the breakdowns but I often have trouble deciding who's responsibility it was because we switch everything sometimes and double people with seemingky no plan often. We really need a guy who's calling card is D. |

In a bad way or in a good way? I can see the potential, at 1 point with Brooklyn he was putting up crazy numbers in 36m per.. if he had any offensive game he would be a starter for any team. |
I believe that in 10 or so games where he has played in at least 27 minutes his average minutes was at 31, and his per 36 in those 10 games was 18 boards and 17 PPG.... |

I love Robinson's hustle but I don't think hes a very good player. I think Black was doing a decent job backing up center. |

Many of us appreciate a grinder when they play well in limited stretches and have a positive effect on the team. Black is the better player but do we really want to pay him $$ again this next season? Trob might get his spot in a cost-cutting or strategy move this offseason. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

Superior in what? TB is undersized, hustle but plays no defense, no range beyond 3 feet. |

This is accurate, if Robinson had a constant jump shot he would have the edge but he doesn't. |

Could his poor rotation also be because he's always trying to stay near the basket to secure those caroms so his rebounding numbers look so good as they so do per his 36 minutes? |

That's also Robinson, although I'd say black is better on both ends of the floor, and does defend. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

I finally watched the Clipper game last night and he and Clarkson were lost on defense. There were rotations where they were going from Clipper to Clipper, finding that those players were already covered by Lakers. But he is a 3rd stringer who comes to play, so it isn't something to be concerned with. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Robinson in this league is a small ball 5 and that is where his biggest upside is. |

Tarik is way better on both ends.
Also, the dribble weave plays (bleep) suck without Tarik setting a massive screen for Clarkson or Williams and then being a bonafide roll threat. Robinson does neither and it's my personal explanation for why Clarkson consistently bricks floaters off the weave action now. |

Nice all-around game T-Rob!
Good hustle, tough defense and effort. 8 points 10 rebounds. |

He can't defend or pass. Now I see why he's been on so many teams. Black is much better. |

He hustles, and rebounds okay, but he doesn't have much basketball skills developed yet. Hoping he can become Hassan Whiteside late bloomer for LA

Black is much better, but having Robinson off the bench instead of Sacre or Kelly is a plus. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
