i remember this game. this was the literal peak of linsanity. it was building up for several games, and this was his career's greatest moment. that was crazy times!
this game probably played a big part in him joining the lakers. i think time has shown he has not lived up to expectations...he is not a max level player. |

Lin is a stud, too bad Byron and Kobe burned that bridge.
Lin would be soooo dynamic on this team in Luke's offense. _________________ #11/08/16 America became GREAT again

He's alright. He was actually a better defender than I thought he'd be. Still glad to have a guy like Clarkson instead of him, though. |

We could have Lin instead of Calderon and Hertas. |

Lin as a backup pg in this system would be nice.
Not as a starting pg. But the Nets offered him the starting role when he proved he should be a career 6th man. |

Good point. He's a better defender than either, and much more of a headache for the opposing D as well. My hope is that Calderon's shooting will make him at least as good a fit for this system as Lin would've been. Lin isn't a bad shooter himself, but he's a bit more wild. I can see Calderon being a more dispassionate pick 'n roll three point shooter that kills defenses based on what they give him. My hope, anyway. |

He looked good even under Byron. Before the Russell pick (which I immediately fell in love with, even after he looked overmatched in summer league) I was hoping the Lakers would go with a Clarkson-Lin 1-2 punch at the one. I'm still not sold on Clarkson as a 2, I think he's really a scoring point guard and having Lin back him up would be a tough cover for any team.
Anyway, kind of a pickle for me because I would've loved a Clarkson-Lin rotation at the one but I also think a Russell-Calderon combo could be even more surgical. |

Lin came close to a triple-double (21/9/9) in last night's win over the Pacers. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Lin has games where he looks great, however he has stretches, but isn't consistent. Which is why he thrived as a 6th man |
